Lower Heath Chip Shop
Called in as I was passing, fairly busy but served within a few minutes. Cheerful lad behind the counter but it’s the full team that makes the chippy what it is. Food well wrapped and still hot when I got home (Gawsworth). The fish was a good size, nice and thick and the chips were cooked to perfection, the whole meal was very tasteful. I even called them to commend them on the food and service. Will definitely be going again.

Really, really good fish and chips. This is how it should be. A massive improvement on the previous owners of the place.Best chippy I have tried in ages.Recommended.

Absolutely gorgeous fish, cooked to perfection, and the chips are very nice, and in large portion sizes. Absolutely loved it! Very nice staff, cheerful and polite. I will definitely be coming again.

Premises opened under new management in July. Good thing for us locals is you can order online for pick up in 25 minutes.There is off-road front of shop parking for about 3 or 4 cars.We had fish and chips and pudding and chips, both of which were delicious and good-sized portions.Will go again.

The food tasted fantastic the batter was crispy and full of flavour. My only criticism would be that the food was a little greasy. Hence it's not 5*

Clean, fresh, modern chippy selling good quality food at a very reasonable price. The kiddies box with chips, nuggets (or sausage or chicken teddy), drink & lolly at £3.30 was great value and the pies were decent quality. Very yummy chips indeed.We went for lunch on a Saturday. We have tried to go before and it's been closed but saw it was open and thought we'd give it a go. With a visit :-)

I went for large battered cod and chips. Fish was delicious. Chips were very good but I prefer them a bit thicker cut.
