Visited today for the first time explained what red I liked, he rushed through choices while all staff looked on,so I choose 6 bottles quickly, I felt very rushed and uncomfortable,I left with my box and not one person moved to open the door,just stood and watched,I will not be back. Laithwaites are 5 star with service

First time ever to this place.Nice service, knowledgeable staff.The sales man gave advice and information regarding all wine we have chosen and he helped us to choose the right bottle of red aswell (a nice 2004 Vina Albina which was the best choise for me, taste is amazing )Who ever has negative reviews for this place are simply attention seekers or over reacting snowflakes.Definitely will recommend this store and will return

I think the service is terrible . They have one salesman on a Saterday morning. I was in there today looking for some wine, the salesman was serving another couple this was taking forever. There was a lady sitting next to him at the till, she was not moving. In the end myself and hubby walked out, I won't be going back there ever again. That's a promise to myself.

Super friendly staff. Got greeted with a taster of champagne and were taken care of very well by an attentive but unobtrusive salesperson.Wines tend to be cheaper by the half dozen... if you need an excuse to buy more

Horrible service!! My husband and I generally spend well over £200 when we purchase wine.The one sales staff on duty paid attention to just one couple the entire time, never acknowledged us and had the audacity to take a bottle of wine out of my hand to sell to someone else without a word of explanation and when we asked him about that, he replied that it was a higher priced wine anyway at £29. We had already chosen 4 bottles of wine at a similar price point and felt that he was implying it was out of our price range.This company has just lost our patronage.

Well organized shop, with very attentive but no obstructive staff, perhaps not extremy knowledgeable about the product they sell, however very kind and nice. Very good selection of European wines as well a Australia and New Zeland. Nice selection of gin's and other beverages. It's worth a visit.

Been using them for the last 5years, great variety, and the staff take the time to introduce you to new options! Well worth the slightly higher price one could pay at a super market, as the quality of the wines they have are really great!

Fantastic staff. I went in looking for a particular beer, Alahambra, which they didn’t have in stock but Claudio was incredibly friendly and helpful. He called the Wokingham branch to hold me a case that I then went to collect. We had a great chat and I will be back to buy more. Thanks
