awful service, waited 45 minutes for prescription whilst in pain due to pharmacist being at lunch. this is not the first time this has happened to me here. can't take hospital prescription anywhere else. will be informing my consultant. wasnt informed that the delay was due to pharmacist being at lunch until I'd waited 40 minutes and asked how much longer it would be!!!

If you like being ignored this is the place to come! A smile or acknowledgment goes a long way.

Multiple customers waiting over 40 minutes for a prescription

Took three days to collect medication then had to wait almost half an hour even though I had phoned in advance staff need further training and a better understanding of the English language and courtesy

Pharmacy closed due staff not turning up and not giving correct keys to covering staff. The only Pharmacy we can get the prescription provided by RLI A&E. Doctors unwilling to transfer to a standard prescription so we can get it from a alternative location. (A&E was not busy at the time).

Be careful!If you get a prescription from a hospital consultant and take it here, they won't give you the full amount. They will give you a couple of weeks worth.When you realise and go back to ask for the full amount they'll say you need a repeat prescription from your GP.When you go to your GP they will say that it's nothing to do with them, as the prescription is from a hospital doctor.When you press the GP they will say that they would love to give you a repeat prescription but they can't because they haven't yet received a letter from the hospital doctor with the details of the diagnosis and prescription.So it's best to take your prescription elsewhere.But you're not allowed to.My advice1. Take a picture of your prescription before handing it to the pharmacist2. Check the quantities received before leaving the pharmacy.

Brilliant little out-patient pharmacy. Friendly staff, they sell toiletries too.P.s. They do NOT dispense green prescriptions. Only hospital OUT-patient prescriptions.

The service in this pharmacy is terrible. 1 person waiting before me and over 40 minutes wait for 1 item. I have worked in a chemist myself as a dispenser and there is no excuse for an extremely long wait.I would not even give it 1 star if that was an option. Absolutely shocking service

Long waits, expect to be asked if you realise they close in 40 minutes time! And they don’t take Green prescriptions too, even from consultations at RLI, they should sort that out.
