National Windscreens Newmarket

Took 8 weeks to get initial appointment, they cancelled it a day before. Rebooked for 8 weeks again, they cancelled it on the day, and only because I called to check (I had to call another store to get through as Newmarket doesn’t answer the phone). Booked for a further 8 weeks!! On the day of appointment which was at 1.30, no one arrived until 2pm. No one answers the phones, no one there in the office. Really frustrating service. I had a small crack but due to the season changes it then cracked 3/4 of the wind screen. It was a lease car so I was restricted to go there but would never recommend.

Booked via national number to get windscreen done...called local location afterwards and they checked my details and said they could do it earlier. Cancelled the original appt and booked in for an earlier one. Come the day - they didn't turn up. Called the local number went through to national office...they had no record of the new date and still had the old date. Customer service was terrible, I explained the change etc...asked to speak to the people at the local location they said that was not possible! Terrible service - Don't use!

The only reason I give it one is for the wonderful guy that came out and replaced my windscreen, other than that this company would get zero stars. The receptionist you speak to argue with you and put you on hold while you're talking. I had to have my appointment scheduled FOUR times, and was allowed to leave work for the first two times since this conpany closes at 5 and i get off work at 4 and wouldnt be home normally until 430, but was told the first time i had to do it on a weekend. The first time they came out the scheduler neglected to ask important questions about my car which resulted in the wrong window being brought. The second time I called after wait 2 hours for someone to show up and decided to call the office and was greeted with, Don't call us

Stay away!!! didn't turn up twice finally came after booking another appointment and then I got charge an extra £50 on the quote I was given not professional bunch of cow boys

Had to use National Windscreen as it was pre requisite of insurance company. After reading the reviews I was dreading it but speak as you find they were pretty good. Dropped the car off and set off on foot to Newmarket for lunch. Google maps says 20 mins. 20 mins if you are Usain Bolt. Anyway, filled my face, walked back and it was done. Drove back to Waterbeach and had tea and biscuits. Good time was had by all.

DONT TOUCH THESE GUYS - COMPLETELY USELESSThese are my Insurance companies approved windscreen fitters. I have been waiting since Tuesday for call backs to book in a full windscreen replacement, after calling multiple times to log it and been told it was on the system each time, noone called me like the insurance company said would, so each time I'm on hold for 30mis + then when you ask for call back they take 3+ hours to get around to it if at all. I called again to try and book a slot when they final sent the paperwork to my insurance company (2days laters) and I was told by someone at the Newmarket Branch they probably couldn't do it untill July 13th, so two weeks after my accident and I explain I was stranded in a hotel 200 miles from home so asked if they could see if could be done ASAP and all I received was a text saying can't fit it today - STILL NOONE HAS ACTULLY CALLED TO BOOK ME IN. So I've now taken my custom to a local replacement shop instead in Sudbury, who were super helpful and friendly. Yes it's going to cost me £240 instead of £75 excess but I'd rather they had my money than national windscreen. And I'm getting it fitted today, so 24 hours after calling. The incompetence of the staff here actual makes me laught

Didn't respond to phone calls. Insurance company had to chase them up. Turned up for first appointment, replacement screen was cracked. Turned up for 2nd appointment with wrong screen. Apparently incorrectly labelled. 2 years ago had similar issues with this mob. Unfortunately had to deal with again through insurance.ABSOLUTELY USELESS.

Great place. I went a week before my appointment by mistake, and the Portuguese guy who attended me found the way to fix the windshield of my van, to don't make me go back again from Cambridge. Even leaving like one hour later than he should. I'm very grateful to this guy.

Not professional as it sounds they fit my windscreen and 1 week later lost my trims waiting now for 2 and half months for the replacement and not even a word from them don't recommend at all

Windscreen booked in for Friday. Guys called an hour before. They arrived on time. Very friendly. Professional. Did a very good job. Surprisingly quick. 10/10 service. Would highly recommend.
