Number of things to be aware of.We got in touch with them via their website and specifically wanted to go with a 0% finance option, it was very clearly mentioned as there was a box to tick, which was ticked. Rep came to visit, very disrespectful person, didn’t want to answer any questions and was quite rude in general, was stinking of cigarette smoke and me and my wife felt disgusted with the person representing this company. Once he walked left and right in rooms, spent up to an hour with his tablet and then said it’s going to be this much and you should (not that if you could) pay so much now and the rest once the job done. He didn’t bring any of the samples nor he did show us anything in regards to laminate or the carpets. After explaining to him what colour and pattern we wanted, he said it will be delivered without any problem as TAPI got it all in stock.Demanding up front payment was quite uncomfortable for us as we didn’t expect to pay anything from the beginning, anyways, we paid the amount requested as I personally didn’t want that person to be around anymore, especially when you’ve got a 1 year old baby in the same room.He left, leaving us with a paper / invoice.In that invoice, it says the name of the products they’re suppose to deliver and when laminate fitter turned up with the laminates, we noticed that it’s a completely different brand and they’ve charged us £32 /sq.m. for what is £13.99 / sq.m, nearly 3 times more for what it actually costs!We felt scammed by this company and even though the store manager or whoever called to apologise about the behaviour of that representative, I still think that the company’s service is quite absurd, as they’re not providing any service apart from selling you something that you could just buy yourself for VERY CHEAP!We are paying to fitters ourselves and rest has nothing to do with TAPI anyways, basically these people are scamming customers, renaming the products that other manufacturers are producing and presenting them with different names on their website and charging us 2,3, some times 4 times more than the actual product costs.So beware, we would definitely never use these people again and I’m also looking into getting them to court for overcharging us in this disgusting way.They haven’t even cared to rename the packages delivered, so people wouldn’t know what it is that they’re trying to pull off, they still got the original manufacturers stickers and branding, which TAPI doesn’t have any mention of in their website!P.S. I never leave such a feedback to anyone, especially if it’s a local business, the level of discomfort made me to write this so other potential clients would think twice before buying anything from this place, again, you’re just buying a product (obviously for a much higher price tag) and paying fitters to use that product in order to complete the jobs. Do your research and whatever you see on their website, ask around for the same pattern an colour, you’ll most likely find the exact same product elsewhere for much cheaper.P.S.S. Fitters are really good craftsman and they’ve done their job to a 100% satisfactory! No doubt about that part, well done guys!

First shop we went to, didn’t need to go anywhere else. Phil in the Drakehouse store was brilliant, not pushy, asked us what we wanted and advised us on the best carpet, which was not the most expensive. Gave us a great price for 3 bedrooms and stairs. Great communications, we were informed on every detail.Got the call from the carpet fitters who arrived punctually and the job was done professionally.Would have no worries about using tapi carpets again and equally have no problems in recommending them.

Staff stare at you like hungry piranhas as soon as you walk in. Prices are okay but cheaper elsewhere. If you want offcuts they have a good range. Best thing about this place is the smell of carpets when you walk in. Key thing is to not make eye contact with the vultures inside.

We popped in today for a look around before we make the plunge for some new carpets and were greeted by Phil who was absolutely brilliant in answering all our questions and helping us reach our decision on the type of carpet we were looking for,and after Phil offered us a super deal we decided to purchase there and then!We recommend 100 % to come and see Phil if you want a great deal!Cheers Phil!

Home sales service was good. Slight pressure to sign at the time to receive a small discount, but polite and friendly. After sales service from the Sheffield store was horrendous and was so bad I will avoid Tapi carpets forever more. After parting with full payment at point of sale, the store do nothing to communicate delays that reached over 2 months before fitting. Like most shoddy companies, they blamed a third party, that they had procured for the delay. No apology from them for lack of communications. I would strongly advise all customers not to pay upfront.

Nice carpets (same as everywhere else really), guy at the shop was ok, is it Phil? But the bloke that came round to measure up felt like a hard pushing vacuum salesman, tried getting us to sign when we told him we were getting other quotes. The hard sales patter meant we bought from somewhere else where we received the opposite patter, and quoted actually a nicer carpet around 30% cheaper. Shows local independent carpet companies do deliver a better personal service.

We visited the Drakehouse store looking for bedroom carpets and underlay where We were greeted with a warm and friendly fella called Phil . He ran us through several different options and gave us a price For each option.There was no hard sell or pushiness into a sale. Phil made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable . We can highly recommend .

Popped in to have a look at carpets, was greeted by Phil, lovely guy not pushy at all, explained everything to us giving us options we had not had from other carpets sales places (not mentioning any names). Gave us an amazing quote on our carpets couldn't not take him up on them! Getting fitted next week. Would recommend anyone around here wanting them to come see them! Feel very looked after!

Ordered carpet for our spare bedroom from the store at Drakehouse. The store couldn't be beaten for price and customer service was excellent. Phil was particularly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely use again!

After having a bad experience with our local flooring company we had a great experience with these guys. They kept everything as promised, the communication was fantastic and the carpet looks great. Absolutely recommend them!
