The Climbing Hangar London

Great climbing gym in West London. I had only been climbing once before but they took the time to explain to me the various routes/difficulties and services available.A day session will cost you £15, with a membership costing around £50 for the month with no mandatory engagement. They have everything you need to get started and they have a lot of instructional videos to teach you the fundamentals of climbing.The staff are the real highlight here, in the few times i’ve been i’ve always had a great time as they create a really friendly, welcoming environment, and know how to make you feel right at home!Looking forward to my next climb with TCH!

Friendly but tiny, low ceilings smelly and no grading. Makes my local Swindon gym seem world class in comparison.

After going to some of the newer gyms about, got to say, The Climbing Hanger, despite its small size is pretty damn good.Have been going here for years, since the front used to be a tiki bar.It has everything a climber could ask for in terms of design- balanced amount of caves, overhangs and slabs. A very decent training area with a campus board. A moonboard and a splash wall.Only nitpick is the setting. Lower grades are good but the dude who sets the yellows is very tall and the climbs reflect that often xD.

Super friendly staff, really nice variety of routes, and a chill place to kick back for an afternoon session. First time climbing in London, TCH will be a firm favourite when I travel in again. Cheers!

My go to bouldering gym. While new places are popping up everywhere, few fit so much into such little space. Plus they have a real cave, not the barely slanted wall some gyms try to pass off as a cave wall. I wish there were a few more routes on the wall though as it is a small gym and you can easily run out of things to do. All in all, it’s worth it because it’s still affordable.

Visited today for the first time and loved it! Great experience, lovely and professional staff, tasty snacks and drinks available at a reasonable price!

Great place with really helpful staff which creates a motivational and convivial community!Every experience I've had here since joining around a 1.5/2 months ago has been awesome - the staff are always friendly and supportive, the rental equipment is clean and the routes are made in a way that make you properly work through them mentally and then physically. The classes are great with the Strength and Conditioning session being a particular highlight - gruelling but rewarding!Would definitely recommend bouldering and The Climbing Hangar London in particular to anyone looking to get back into fitness and finds traditional gyms boring / uninspiring. Although you might not see progress immediately, give it a few weeks and the results will astound you!!

Fantastic climbing wall, close to the centre of London (right next to Parson's Green underground).Decent mix of boulder problems, and it's clean, warm, and comfortable. The team are also awesome!The brownies they have are fantastic, from Rude Health cafe nearby. Combine with a coffee for a real energy boost.
