Having just moved to Horsham I was unsure who to go with for my MOT and service. I found Luke @ Popular Automotive on Google and the previous reviews were great. I have to say I also had a very smooth and easy experience, Luke fitted me in with quite late notice, collected the car on time and dropped it back, posting the keys through my letter box as I had requested. Luke arrived on time, very friendly. Got him to look at my brakes after halfords checked them and quoted me £120.90 for new front pads.Luke quoted £65 for the fronts and offered to match halfords price to do all 4 if necessary.He informed me that they didn't need changing and looked brand new, so halfords were trying to scam me. And didn't charge me for anything. He will now be the first on my list to contact if I need anything doneWill definitely contact Luke if I need anything else done. 100% recommended

After struggling to find a mechanic I really lucked in with being recommended popular motors, has got to me quickly both times I’ve called,fixed the issue when others were quoting me weeks, polite and very reasonable hourly rate, overall would recommend highly and will be using fairly often knowing my vehicles!

I can't speak too highly of Luke. As a visitor to Horsham I had a breakdown (on a Saturday) and he fixed it the same day. The quality of his work was fine, he was cheerful and reliable and his charges very reasonable.

Luke was a star with our diesel VW EOS! He diagnosed the EGR and DPF problem and made the steps to repair it very clear with the statement that steps may not fix the problem. I appreciated the explanation of how EGR and DPF work - what a terrible design and now wonder the diesel pollution is killing children! Luke changed EGR but DPF didn't regenerate as it needed thorough cleaning. We thought we needed to use DPF cleaning specialist so we found one. Luke was determined to complete the job and made us an offer we couldn't refuse so we continued with him ... and it worked. He is a specialist in everything I guess. Would highly recommend Luke. He has such a lovely amenable personality.

I called Luke out to have a look at my 08 Range Rover Sport where the hand brake unit had seized. It's a proper pig of a job and nobody wanted to touch it but Luke was up to the task. This is what he did:-Disengage inoperable handbrake, Strip & inspect rearparking brakes. Replace parking brake module. Replacerear brake discs, pads and wear lead. Replace parkingbrake shoes with fitting kit. Carry out bedding in procedure.As you can see fairly big job, but I've had no issues since the car has been returned. I will definitely be using Luke in the future starting with a separate steering issue which has come about from another garage after the car had an MOT. Luke will now do all my work for me. I highly recommend him and his excellent prompt service.
