Moonlight Chinese Take Away

Ordered our first takeaway from Moonlight as it was recommended by friends. Definitely not disappointed, a thumbs up from the whole family.Good homemade curry - checked, tasty sweet and sour chicken - checked, and our taste guide is the salt and pepper squid, nice!!Really friendly service, I think the owner delivered the food, who was polite and very friendly.I have worked most of my teenage years in my mum and dad's Chinese takeaway, so I do know a good Chinese food, and Moonlight is very good. Flavouring is just spot on, neither salty or over flavoured with MSG, everything was well cooked, good portions and tasted very nice.I do have a small suggestion, I would suggest cutting the the corner of the lid for any fried food, e.g the salt and pepper squid, because it was enclosed, it became a little soggy. Don't get me wrong, it was still very nice and hot, but letting the steam escape would maintain the crispiness a bit longer. No point is deducted, because the whole family enjoyed it, we will definitely order again and again.

This by far was the worst tasting Chinese ever, very quickly prepared overly fried chips, stale rice, curry mixture was not even mixed in properly and was sweet, had to throw it away, what a waste of money, definitely would not recommend.

Excellent, very friendly service, first class meals and very good prices. Ignore the idiot with the 'double' Prawn Crackers review. I live in the Midlands and when visiting always ensure that we are able to enjoy their takeaway meals.

Having tried for first time as everything else locally was not that good , have been using now for the past 18 months, never disappoints great food fantastic value , best one I’ve found

First time ordering from Moonlight due to the reviews and was not disappointed. Food was really tasty , and was really hot. The crispy chilli shredded beef was amazing, best we've had in ages. Will definitely be ordering from them.

If you’ve not tried this place do give them a go. The food is tasty and service is friendly, honest and they deliver (safe distance delivery in lock down). Prices are standard but the meal deals are worth checking out.We’ve ordered a few times now and haven’t been disappointed on any dish yet.

This is the first time i have ever ordered from here and its Absolutely stunning. Best Chinese me and my partner have ever had and we have had a lot! Will deffinitly be ordering again and was lovely staff over the phone when ordered and delivery was on time.

Very upset with moonlight we order pretty much every week. This week they got my order wrong refused to put it right when their mistake, asking for another 4.00 when the difference between the I correct meal and correct is £2. I also ordered some prawn crackers, the don't tell you your are getting free ones so charge you and send two bags... For a customer of 12 years I felt really annoyed.. no thank you for loyalty.. won't be going back... And I had to cook my own rice!!!!!

Been using them for some years now and Always, have had great customer service, not only over the phone is pleasant and concise but from the staff that deliver, including the difficult Covid time did everything to the rules.The food is always what i would expect so couldn't ask for more.Thank you.
