Motel One

This hotel is strangely quiet considering it's next to the main station and central to the city. It's a great hotel: modern and stylish with really friendly staff. We're yet to have the breakfast, but we have enjoyed a drink in the large bar area on the ground floor around reception while playing cards. It's great to have a nice space to chill out in outside of hotel rooms.

Great location, friendly staff and lovely room. We arrived at 8am just to drop bags off before checking in later, but they managed to find us a room to check in there and then.The room was clean and spacious.The bar was reasonably priced and had a good, friendly atmosphere. We will be staying again!

Great location, close to public transport and close to secure 24 hour parking site.Very nice lounge area which we didn't use, rooms are nice but fairly small. Nice large walk in shower with organic natural soaps. Very comfortable beds and pillows.My only negative comment is the mattress protectors were heavily stained and I had to flip my mattress around so it was at the foot end. I reported it on my way out so it was sorted for the next person. Overall good stay and would stay again.

Great location next to central station and there is an exit that gets you almost opposite the hotelNice modern interior, friendly staff and quick check in. Was able toCheck in early- nice surprise.Room 317, third floor, back facing, quiet but extremely small.Nice functional bathroom.Having the safe at leg level next to bed is rather odd as there is a potential and bumping into it getting in and out of bed.Lack of glasses just cardboard cups.Toiletries good.TV did not function at one point- might have been issue with cable connection.Generally a good stay with a downside of small room and lack of view due to need for quiet room.

Warm, friendly welcome on arrival. We were lucky to get in to our room early and were give the option of a low floor or high floor. We chose high and had a great few across the city. Room was lovely and clean and had a window that actually opens which seems a rarity these days! Bed was really comfortable. Lovely, clean shower room with hand wash and shampoo/body wash provided. Very quite in the rooms. Bar/reception area was immaculate and had a lovely warm atmosphere about it. Would highly recommend as it’s just outside Central Station too.

Really lovely room. Just a shout out to the two Dublin girls at the desk. Very friendly, professional and made you feel very welcome

Great location, top notch service at both the front desk & bar, and the rooms were clean and fresh and modern.The room was a bit small for our American tastes, but storage was appointed cleverly. We slept well with minimal outside noise.Hallways and common areas were free of clutter and well maintained.

One of the quietest hotels I've stayed in! Great service and we were 3 hours early and still got a room there and then! Very comfortable bed and pillows. Normally more than we would pay for a night but was well worth it and would return!

After 6 months of not staying here I gave in and booked again. Surely at 5.45 on a Wednesday check in couldn’t be that bad. I even received a pass to save to my wallet. I assumed that I’d be checking in at a terminal with zero waiting like Yotel across the street. No such luck. I walked through the door to join the end of a long queue. Nothing had changed. People are still signing bits of paper and the staff are still giving the 2 minute spiel about the times of the doors being locked, breakfast etc. Cut this out and there would be no queue. This could be on a card in the room Onto the TVs. They promise all sorts of apps like BBC player and All4 catch up but the staff admit they don’t work. To add insult to injury you can’t even cast to the TV. The rooms are lovely. The bar great. The location perfect but I won’t be coming back any time soon
