Oakdene Forest Park - Shorefield Holidays

We had the larger caravan with hot tub, 3 bedrooms and ensuite bathroom. We loved staying here. The hot tub and pools were excellent.We didn't eat at restaurant, as we prefer to cook our own meals. The kitchen was well equipped except for lack of a family-sized pot. At my request, they did give us an extra pot to use, albeit small.The washing machine and dishwasher were very handy.Hardly any room to move or place items in bedrooms.Short walk to all amenities and forest. Kids loved the arcade. The entertainment options on stage were not interesting for us.

We have just had a weeks holiday here and absolutely loved it. The pool is great the kids loved the slide and we enjoyed the sauna and steam room. The water was mostly warm, lovely for the rainy weather days. October half term is when we came, so the outdoor pool was closed but it looked nice! We had a great time celebrating Halloween and was nice to see the place decorated. Arcades were good and the showbar was a hit with us all. The bar and restaurant were a bit expensive but we enjoyed it none the less. Staff are all lovely and the shows are good fun for everyone. On site shop is good for those essentials. Park itself is lovely and clean. Caravan was great we couldn't fault it. Location is good we like to go out most days so always had to drive but the park itself was easy to get to. Would definitely return. We had a blast thank you!

We arrived at the park and was checked in straight away.We checked out our caravan and all the sofas had stains all over them.We went back to reception and told them this, we was then told by Sharon Dean that we can all go home if we wanted and get a full refund. Very rude for a manager.The cleaning staff wrapped our whole sofa in sheets. Cleaning staff A1 very nice people.We then logged a complaint with Stuart Horswill the park manager and was told customer experience will get back to us. To this day I have heard nothing.Apart from this everything else was fine.I just don't expect to pay £700 for a Mon to Fri break and get a caravan that was not up to standard. I will not be going back here on principle.

Stayed in a static home with a hot tub. I didn't use the hot tub personally but was assured it was great, and saw it being regularly maintained. It was clean and the layout well thought out. The beds were comfy and nice site in general. Well located for national trust and other attractions

Our recent trip to Oakdene Forest Park was a memorable one! We went with six other families, and it catered brilliantly for our large group. The lodges were modern, spacious and having hot tubs was the cherry on top. Set in a serene woodland backdrop, it was the perfect escape. Its close proximity to Hurn Forest and Bournemouth's sandy beaches made day trips exciting and accessible. The variety of children-centric activities kept all our little ones engaged and entertained, from the lively pool activities to the engaging events. All the families had a blast and it's become a topic of discussion for our next reunion. Big thumbs up to Shorefield Holidays for ensuring our large group had a seamless and enjoyable stay. We'll definitely be coming back!

Great location with forest access to walk. Doggy bins for poo bags aplenty. Dog friendly, good bar, restaurant on site, although I have not tried it. Great facilities, with 2 pools, (indoors and outdoors), sauna steam room, water slide, lifeguard, ice-cream and snack hut.

Great location, close to supermarkets, takeaways, pub restaurants. Towns and beaches just a short drive away as well.The site is great, has access to the forest which is great for dog walks. Swimming pool is open 8am-8pm which is great, compared to other sites that close the pool at 4pm. Good facilities in there such as hot tub, steam room and gym.Arcade and main area is also good with entertainment regularly on.Caravans are spacious and well equipped. Free Wi-Fi all over the site. Have always found staff to be friendly and helpful and overall just a great place that I love going to.

We had a wonderful time visiting this beautiful place. We enjoyed peaceful walks in the woods and a trip to the stunning St Leonards sandy beach. However, as Airbnb guests, we didn't have access to the nearby restaurants and facilities, and acquiring passes would have set us back an additional £180, not to mention the cost of tickets. The accommodation itself was cosy and clean, but our morning peace was disrupted when construction work on the neighbouring cabin started promptly at 9 o'clock, which was quite loud and annoying.

Private booking with an outside agent. The site was lovely and quiet. As a private booking the passes for the activities were not included but we didn't bother as £38 each for 4 nights seemed a bit steep when all we probably would have used was the pool. The site seemed to be patrolled regularly and the accommodation itself was a real home from home, well equipped and comfortable.

It's OK. We stayed in supreme 3 accommodation for a week. There were 6 of us. The decking area with a gate was handy. You cant fit a travel cot in any of the bedrooms which was a bit of a problem for us.There is an outdoor and an indoor pool. The outdoor pool is heated but it is very small. Every time we went swimming the pool had reached maximum capacity and we had to wait to get. The longest we waited was about 20 minutes which isn't too bad.It was confusing to order food from the restaurant as you had to use an App. My 90 year old nan would not have been able to do this without us. The food was absolutely delicious!!There were some nice walks to go on, would be great for dog walkers.There were no footpaths through the park to get your accommodation. There is a one way road. When walking with a pram this was sometimes annoying as you have to go onto the grass to let cars pass.You need a pass to buy drinks at the bar or go swimming. The pass was only available electronically so I had to make sure my phone was charged which was a bit annoying if we had been out all day. My nan couldn't show a pass as she doesn't have a phone.The location of the pool table wasn't ideal as there was not enough room to play without knocking people trying to gain access to the bar, swimming pools and arcade. The pool table was very popular. There was only one, so you were lucky if you got to play.The arcade had some good games. The kids loved it.Customer service was generally good.We paid to do archery, it was very fun and the instructor was really good.
