I used to have so much spare energy so my parents sent me here know i know how to dance and the people are super nice. Its for anyone and everyone so i would recommend going to try a free taster. I am currently in CAT which means Centre for Advanced training. I couldn't dance but after a year i can dance like all the other kids in my class. If any parent wants to send their kids there i would 100% recommend that they do as it is amazing fun and is great for socializing and experience. Also because of Covid-19 it has been hard to get into the studio's but they all try their hardest and we are even making a mini movie. The zoom classes are great, the facilities are great and the staff are great. Also every student gets counselling and physio.

This place is fantastic...But I don't think it will be the same place without Ian the manager as I have been going for 12 years and he always has time for a chat with people that come to the place it's his big smile.Ian hope you have a very very happy retirement I as a customer of a gentleman that I bring to Dancecity...Eddy..

My kids (6 and 8) took part in the Easter Dance Camp and it was amazing. They've never been to Dance City before, but they both loved it. The staff were so lovely and supportive and the performance on the last day was brilliant. You wouldn't believe what the children achieved in just a few days. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a holiday dance camp to other families. My son has never danced before and he had an amazing time. It was a great experience and lots of fun.

No classes available throughout the day for adults under 55. I usually start work at the times that the classes begin, around 6.30pm and everything on a Saturday seems to be for kids only. :( would really love to dance but no classes are available during the day for my age, I’m 26.

Disappointed that there is no proper cafe in dance city, also you have to access the classes by lift or stairs, seeing as I don't like lifts I had to walk up to the third floor to gain access to the class. I think this should be pointed out when booking classes. Hence I will be going elsewhere with easier access.

My daughter was very happy to go to Primary Ballet dance classes every Saturday morning until their Shimmer performance when she couldn't participate despite having signed the consent form and her presence at the rehearsal the day before. For some obscure reason we've never been on their mailing list and didn't receive any information about the time she had to be there on the day of the performance nor that we had to book tickets. We arrived shortly before the performance starting time and were told that all the tickets were sold out and that she should have been there 2 hours prior to the show. We would have been OK to not assist to the show as we could understand them not letting us in without tickets but the most important was for our daughter to dance with everyone! She even picked an outfit for the occasion and was left crying without a word of sympathy from the staff. The only thing we got was a Sorry about that." I've sent an email to Dance City as well as contacted them via twitter but nobody came back to me to give me any sort of explanation and apologies. Disgraceful behaviour."

First time visit. I phoned in advance to check tap class was suitable for a beginner. Was told it was all abilities and yes, but it was most definitely not. Left after 15/60 minutes feeling like I couldn’t dance. Facilities and studio were very clean and range of classes looks good, but marketing of classes isn’t right.

Took 7 year old for a contemporary dance lesson, she has attend many different type of dance lessons from ballet to tap, this is the only one she has stuck at. She loves it! You book weekly so you don't feel that they have to attend, her lesson cost £6 a time which we feel is good value for money. While she is at lesson there is a cafe where you get a lovely cuppa, they also serve sandwiches, scones etc.

Love Dance City and the wonderful people there, who helped get us through lockdown. Really nice atmosphere when a show is on and the studios are marvellous. Good for kids too.

Our students had an amazing time working with Emily this weekend. Our students got so much out of this experience, we would definitely recommend it!
