Caroline Fox & Victoria Gregory have been absolutely amazing with me from start to finish throughout my qualification. It has been very stressful at times and they have put me at ease and helped me so much throughout it all. It has been an absolute pleasure dealing with them and would like to thank them from the bottom of my heart I couldn't have done it without them. I hope for the future that another member of the public get these two absolute pleasures to work alongside with, it definitely helps with the work you are doing to have so much support from them. Went here to get my level 2 and level 3 wood finishing NVQ to finish my qualification as a French Polisher from 2008-2010 Travelled from Lancaster. Great experience and Russell Large was a superb tutor and teacher. They treat you like an adult and help you every step of the way. 5 stars!

An outdated business, who trains staff by instilling fear into them in their every working day. This business is losing revenue, it is struggling to survive and does not treat staff fairly, but as pawns to be used and thrown away.It was eye opening being with them, but if you are looking for a job here or even to be taught by them as youths, i would advise you do a straight 180 and look the other way because you will not gain anything from this place other than mental health issues.

On the phone interview on of the staff said to me why not just go college and do what career you want and go down that root instead and she basically turned me down and I’ve forgotten her name if I remembered I would’ve reported her to her supervisor/ manager

I work here, in the adult learning centre. We deliver free training courses for people over 19 receiving UC benefits. We deliver E3 & L1 courses from customer service, Hospitality to Business Admin. All learner receive free hot drinks and a light lunch too.

Waste of time. Apprenticeship dragged on over 4 years due to waste of time tutors not giving any help with reguards to the course to then be told it’s the students fault for not understanding the questions and that only 2/10 people who do apprenticeships through NLTG actually make it to the end of the course. Even bigger waste of time speaking to Penny the apprenticeship manager she just sits there defends themselves at all costs to then be hung up on. Don’t waste your time and effort go straight to Bury College at least they have some helpful tutours

I am currently doing my level 4 in business and Admin and could not be happier ! My tutor Jill is amazing and helps me in every way she can including rewording things if needed due to me being dyslexic.The course was cheaper here then at other company's and I have not heard one bad review from anyone who has completed the course.Thank you to all the NLTG team for the help and support you have provided me on my learning journey !

Nice building, decent staff.Was asked to leave the building upon safeguarding checks, despite being open and honest and rehabilitated as told by the court and probation themselves. The questions that get to this point claim to be in the interests of Inclusivity, yet the results show the complete opposite. I was told to go here and it was a commitment of my UC claim.

I have no idea if this is the correct centre but at this point I honestly don't care, I'll leave this review on every location. The way this company handles recruitment is beyond laughable. They ask how you prefer to be contacted, only to tell you can't continue with an application unless you call them. I contacted their online support who reassured me the application had moved on to the next step. A week or so later I receive another text telling me I need to call the attached number in order to move my application forward. On calling the number, it won't connect because it is incomplete - whoever sent the text replaced some numbers with symbols, for some reason. Again I contact them via email with no response, reply to their number with a text with also no response. That leads to this morning. Another text telling me I need to call in order to move forward with my application - digits again missing from the number. This time when contacting the online support they inform me the position I was applying for is closed. Due to their inaction I missed out on an employment opportunity & despite the position being closed I was spammed with texts, asking me to call.My advice would be to avoid wasting your time where avoidable. Contact the employer directly and cut out these clowns working in recruitment at NLTG because they only seem interested in collecting your personal details. The fact you have to create an account on their website to apply for a job is enough of a joke as it is, seeing as you'll only ever use it again if you're successful - at which point it would make more sense to create an account after the fact. The recruitment team should be ashamed.
