(Specsavers Bloxwich)Firstly Bifocals were incorrect, wrong prescription done by a locum & heights were incorrectly checked by member of staff, there was a crossover with distances & reading.I saw double vision and could not see out of the reading part.Then l decided to go with Varifocals which i previously had before as i thought these won't be messed up.When they came back to collect my Varifocals l also couldn't see out of these. Specsavers said the heights were correct & they are the same level Varifocals (Premium) that I purchased previously.l told them well l can see out of my old pair something is not right but Specsavers couldn't do nothing to help me as this was the second they had been sent them back,I received my money back.I then went to another optician across the road. The independent one, my prescription was checked by a qualified Optometrists and received a full eye test again. The Optometrists mentioned that the Specsavers prescription was way out that's why you can't see.2 eye tests l received from Specsavers in Bloxwich 1st eye test was done by a locum because the second person who did my recheck told me she was a locum, but the second check was done by a member of the team who works in the shop he previously measured my glasses up as I remembered him so he is not a qualified Optometrists.Specsavers can't seem to get my glasses correct. It's happened previously with my old Bifocals as well with the heights being incorrect.Yes they have a lot of offers on & top range equipment but you're better off paying more for quality & experience.So I've paid £50 more at my new opticians for a pair of Varifocals & gold level so a better Varifocal also you knowThe staff are experienced.I had been a Specsavers customer for years l will never use specsavers again!It's worth paying more for quality & experience.

Sadly not all of my experience with specsavers have been excellent. But on this occasion I was very impressed with the process the lad josh I think his name is seemed to go out of his way to be helpful. He I think is a credit to the company that's not to say the other staff were not helpful they were anyway well done Bloxwich specsavers

Optitan was really good explained everything however the personal questions your asked when you arrive is in front of everyone I believe that should be done in private that was the only downside for me
