The Last Word Clifton Village Bristol
The Last Word is amazing! They hosted a cocktail party for 35 of us and it couldn't have been any better! The venue was really lovely and big enough to fit us all, the sharing boards with food were incredible as well - a lovely selection of cheese, bread and meats and the cocktails were amazing! Tomas is really knowledgeable and patient when it came to the cocktail making which lasted around 4 hours! Prior to the event Tomas was really accommodating with ensuring they were fully prepared beforehand. There was even a photographer there which was another lovely touch! I would recommend the Last Word for any large corporate parties or parties in general! We look forward to returning again soon! Thank you again for having us!

Super cool and relaxed cocktail bar in Clifton Village! Lovely lux interior and really good music. Cocktails were really tasty and well made, also reasonably priced.Only reason I did not give this 5 stars is because firstly I thought they served food (like the website said) which they did not. Also the bar staff were polite but not super friendly, when I asked for a suggestion on what drink to have it wasn’t much back and forth.But in all lovely place to have a cocktail :)

Cool venue, great cocktails and awesome staff!Went here yesterday for a drink on our way home from work and ended up staying for hours. Tried a range of their cocktails - all were well balanced and had their own great flavours.We had a mix of unique flavoured cocktails and old classics with a creative twist. All of the staff were extremely friendly and couldn’t have been happier to help. Talked us through some interesting knowledge around making cocktails and recommended great cocktails based on our preferences - we definitely want to go back and try their masterclass. The space is super cool, feels really intimate and exclusive with the mix of great music!

They bake all the cakes!We were really impressed with the afternoon tea here, incredibly tasty sandwiches and cakes which he bakes himself! And you can tell; the quality and flavour is clearly not shop bought. I wish I’d taken a picture as it looked as good as it tasted, plenty there and it was really good value. Even the teapot and cups a and saucers had adorable ‘Alice in Wonderland’ vibes. We’ve had a few afternoon teas in our time and have had many nice ones but this was the best. After a spate of poor experiences at restaurants and bars with lack lustre food and service, our visit to The Last Word has reinvigorated my love of eating out. Don’t change anything! We’ll definitely be back!

Visited for a cream tea. We were sat right next to the entrance in a corridor so didn't really get a feel for the place. The waiters came by every once in a while to check up on us but brought things out at random times ie teacups a while after the pots of tea, saucers and teaspoons after we'd finished our first cup of tea. Price was reasonable and food was quite nice!

As life adapts to the new world of Covid with a weekend away in Bristol, last night found ourselves venturing out for the first time for several weeks for cocktails at The Last Word in Clifton Village.This venue has only been open a little over a year and naturally, has had a tough year trading due to the impact of the pandemic so it was nice to come and provide some support for this business.Our party of 6 was warmly welcomed by the owner Thomas who took us to our table downstairs. The venue is spilt over two levels with a bar and seating upstairs and additional seating downstairs. This bar is very much what we tend to look for..... quirky, cosy, classy and a little moody. A great selection of music was also played throughout.There is a small cocktail menu but Thomas would make anything else you may fancy so the options are unlimited. Our choice of drinks were from both on and off the menu and we were not disappointed and these were all very well made and presented cocktails.We stayed here for around 2 1/2 hours and it rounded off a great evening.Thomas and the staff were excellent and when back in Bristol we will definitely come back here.Please come out and support this fantastic venue and help it continue to grow in to its second year of trading..... you won’t be disappointed.

Great find on a random night out in Clifton.. Excellent drinks menu with enough variety and blend of unique and classic cocktails! Friendly staff and good atmosphere, prices are fair too!Highly recommend
