Decent cafe, but the hot chocolate just tasted like hot milk. No hint of hot chocolate. Definitely not worth the price. Also the red cord was tied up in the disabled bathroom (there was also no directions for the bathrooms), which is a safety & accessibility issue. So I untied it for you. Needs cleaning.

I've been here a few times now and each time is the same, not sure why I return. In brief: the area where the 'barista' makes the coffee is always dirty, coffee grinds everywhere and doesn't look hygienic. The food looks tatty - I ordered a pan au chocolate and they honestly don't care about which one they give you - I should have taken a photo as it looked like it had been hit with a tennis racket. The decor is depressing, cobwebs all over the picture frames and the pictures in the frames are dull. I ordered a large americano and the cup was dirty and the staff member who served it had no pride in it's appearance. May as well have made it myself at home using instant coffee. In contrast to Bagota Coffee which I visited yesterday which has a trendy, rustic setting, nicely presented food and a pride in what they do, Caffe Nero are severely lacking and not very inspiring.

It was a ratio of 1:1, about 5 staff members and only that many customers. First off, they were incredibly slow. They kept forgetting what people had asked for, one guy poured something down the side of a jug instead of in it.Then the staff member who put the food in to toast just wandered off, we didn't see her again. After waiting at the table for the food, we had to go and remind the staff members about it, who clearly had no clue. Another man checked one toaster, nothing, then checked a second and found our food almost burned. They didn't bother to get the pastry we had paid for from the counter so we had to ask for that too. (It was barely edible it was so dry incidentally)To have staffing similar to an intensive care ward and not be able to manage to make some coffee and warm a couple of simple, repetitive snack is pretty pathetic honestly. I'd never go back.

A member of staff was very rude, and even though there was a long queue, he left the new trainee to service the customers. Everyone was complaining about their coffees as the trainee girl kept making mistakes, but the guy kept taking to her and ignoring the queue.

Nero's is my go to chain. Love the coffee normally. But in this outlet I got served on several mornings by a surly faced lady who made the worst flat whites I've had for a while. The outlet has good seating and location but the lady and her coffee making skills put me off.

Cosy place, nice staff, varieties of sandwiches (cold and hot) available for breakfast as well as some pastries like croassant, cookies, and muffins.Wide range of coffees are served. The seating area is divided into several types each convenient to the number and type of your visit.

Went in for a Vanilla Latte, firstly got ignored for 3 minutes and when they did serve me the enthusiasm of all three staff was non-existentant. I was then handed a hot cup with almost no vanilla inside but all of it on the outside. My hand literally stuck to the cup. Having taken the cup outside, the bees had more of it than I did. And the sad part is that I had little change left from a fiver. What a shame Nero!

Went for a little birthday treat for my partners daughter, along with my two children. There was no soap in the toilet, which can't be a difficult task to sort out. The muffin my partners daughter chose has mould in it! When I returned it, the staff couldn't have cared less, just got me to choose something else. I didn't get another muffin as I saw that there was mould on the remaining two. When I asked for a fork for the cheesecake she chose instead, I got a dirty look from the member of staff, and then the fork itself was dirty so I had to get it changed. Overall, the service is shocking, and the place is hygienic and disgusting. We shan't be going back again.

Not sure what the staffing issues are, but omg it's dire. Always closing early, cups and mess everywhere, and no wipe of the portafilter EVER meaning burnt coffee every time. It is what it is and free parking, but McDs do a better job. Nero used to be the best coffee chain, not any more.
