Getting divorced is never going to be a pleasant process for most but OLS made it much more manageable both financially and emotionally. I was directed to OLS via the online divorce package I was using at Divorce-Online.The solicitor I spoke with gave me clear and concise advice and guided me through the initial process of the Consent Order.Thereafter I dealt solely with Wendy, the Paralegal and Divorce Case Manager who supported me fully throughout the whole process. She was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, competent, empathic, compassionate and nothing was too much trouble. Wendy helped make this difficult experience a far more manageable experience for me. Thank you so much.A shout out to Laura too, who looked after me if Wendy was not available, which was rare.I would absolutely recommend using OLS Solicitors as a cost-effective, efficient and helpful service.

If there was an option for 'no stars' then I would have chosen this. This company do not deserve even one star. I was expecting a smooth service given I was going to be doing all the hard work myself in terms of completing forms and negotiating finances with my ex husband. The solicitor Peter Thomas was difficult to get hold of and was very uninterested in my personal situation when I did manage to speak to him after waiting 2 weeks for a telephone consultation. What should have been a one time application submission by OLS - turned into 4 submissions over a year and a half. First submission was rejected by the courts as OLS failed to write my name correctly. Second submission was rejected by the courts as OLS failed to submit the correct documents, third time they LOST my application and fourth time claimed the court had closed and they needed to send it to a different court. Honestly, if I had known what a Mickey Mouse service it was going to be, I would never have used this company. If you can negotiate a financial agreement with your ex to be then consider doing it yourself as you'll find OLS will not treat you with the care and personal service you need for such an emotionally difficult time in your life - they will simply add to your stress!

Solicitor was friendly and approachable however the firm lacked expertise in the family law matter we took to them. I'm sure in an uncontested divorce or amicable separation they would be more than adequate.

I contacted OLS Solicitors to help me sort my divorce financial settlement. Wendy was the first person i spoke to and poured my heart out. She was very kind to hear me out patiently and adviced me on legal grounds which i was absolutely not aware of. She adviced me to discuss it with Mr. Peter Thomas, Solicitor. The paralegal who dealt with the decree nisi and absolute of my divorce procedure was awesome. She was professional, competent, efficient and communicated extremely well.However, the lawyer who took care of my Consent Order was the complete opposite. He was totally unresponsive. I only got a reply from him after sending a dozen of increasingly frustrated emails. Furthermore, he made a lot of and big mistakes in the document that he would have given absolutely everything to my ex-wife if I did not spot them.In conclusion, if you need paralegal work done, this is a great place. Anything more than that, I'd recommend strongly to go elsewhere.

I started divorce proceedings through divorce-online on 16th December 2019. I was then put in contact with OLS solicitors. I appreciate how quickly they always responded and reacted every step of the process. I received decree absolute mid June 2020. Being an online service it has an impersonal feel to it, but that was what I wanted. I also appreciate the value for money and there were no surprise hidden costs.Thank you for the service.
