Medivet 24 Hour Enfield

I have just picked my 5 week old kittens ashes up from the so called caring vets. The vet who calls himself doctor prescribed and loaded syringes of pain killer for me to give to kitten. After 2 doses the kitten died he had given 10 times more than he should. I got an apology and human errors happen. I watched him fill syringes. Be careful folks for that vets aren’t. I’m not finished yet mr so called vet

I had a terrible experience with this veterinary practice. After my dog was attacked, they refused to see him, showing a complete lack of compassion and professionalism - Maybe you should sign up with us next time" - I didn't even care about how much would it cost. I wouldn't recommend this practice to anyone in need of pet care."

The girls working at this medivet in Enfield are the least empathetic people you will probably ever meet. After my friends dog died in their facility, my friends went to see their dog’s body and were of course in tears and crying out loud, the woman on reception was so cold and had a smirk on her face. Knowing the circumstances, you’d expect people working in a 24 hour care facility like the vet to extend some condolences or just be kinder/softer in their approach, but no, instead the staff at this medivet ensure to display the most abrupt and harsh manners. Don’t bring your pets here unless you never want to see them again alive and only if you want cold hearted treatment from the staff. Shame on you medivet Enfield (note: take your pets to the Medivet in Cockfosters instead because the staff there is so empathetic and kind)

Took my cat in as an emergency tonight. Price has gone from £90 to £130 over night, just for a consultation. My cat was extremely unwell. They wanted to charge me an additional £80 for a 2 minute blood pressure check on top on the £130. £200 for a blood test is expensive, however I can understand them charging that but £80 for a blood pressure check with no treatment is a complete rip off . UPDATE they refused heart medication even though I had the prescription and money. They stated they had it in stock however I owed the the 130 from the consultation previously which he never had. I stated they need to provide these heart meds of the cat will die. Their response was 'that's your problem' and hung up. My cat sadly died shortly after

I took my cat there for an emergency visit on Sunday and it was the best thing I could do for my boy. Unlike the previous vet who only gave us medication to mask his symptoms, the vet there actually took time and effort to read his previous medical history and diagnosed him correctly. My cat started getting better as soon we got home.Yes, the out of hours consultation is £101 but, if, like me, you're wondering whether it is actually worth paying this money, or if you'll just get fobbed off with a painkiller, please believe me, these vets are worth every penny and will actually try to cure your pet. Thank you to everyone who helped my poor boy on Sunday!

Brilliant service, and we were seen by a very caring vet. We were seen quickly and had no waiting time in the waiting room, as soon as we arrived we were seen. I had previously called the vets, and they were able to book us to be seen within an hour. They also accept pet insurance. I will definitely use the service again if I have another pet emergency. The medication that they prescribed worked really well for my dog, and he was well within a few days.

Two bad experiences, first of all they couldn't draw blood from my cat, I saw them being way too rough with him which I saw when the door opened from the waiting room, totally incapable of even drawing the blood, they tried his neck and failed with a needle sticking out of it, then I asked them to do his paw which they failed at again, so I stopped them and took him away. His usual vet had a lack of staff so he was sent there. Secondly he was rushed in with an emergency by Cockfosters two days ago and has come home with a bad limp which made me believe he was suffering a blood clot, so I had an emergency vet out who diagnosed it as an injury...he also had a cut on his belly from the shaving and is totally traumatised. Livid would be an understatement. Utter disgrace.Ps Cockfosters drew the blood the next day absolutely no problemTaking all my pets out of Medivet, what on earth is going on with this chain of vets ,multiple people I've spoken to about Medivet have had issues recently including a GP.This is what happens when venture capitalist firms get involved with Pet Care.....
