Budgens of Holt

Visited the store at 1142 on the 30/10/23 to purchase some flowers. The store was clean and tidy and most aisles had three members of staff present. There was a poor and overpriced selection of flowers out so approached a member of staff to ask if this was all they had. I was told 'yes' as she was probably far too busy counting her stock to look out the back for me. Queued at the kiosk to pay for my items where I overheard the exchange between the male member of staff and a customer. He said 'how are you?' 'Would you like a bag?' 'Would you like a receipt?' 'Take care' 'Have a nice day'. It was as much as I could do to get a grunt out of the staff member, who proceeded to count stock before I had left the till and I had to ask for a receipt. Glad to say this is not my local.

Way too overpriced and the self checkout machines only accept card and they are not programmed correctly. The meal deals there are what you would find in a petrol station in the middle of nowhere. However, the staff always seem happy to help. What makes this place really disappointing is that you don't even get 30 minutes free parking and are expected to pay immediately.

Newly built, this thoroughly modern Supermarket hits the mark between a regional Booths and national Waitrose. Range choices are about quality with convenience. Inspiring departments with specialist options: artisan breads, refillery wall to name a couple. Staff - really helpful and a wonderful pleasant atmosphere.

Very close to the town centre and you can park there and wander off. If you do as we did and shop in budgens on your return then the first hour of the parking fee is deducted from your bill.A good selection of food and drink can be found, but I do think you pay extra as it's situated in Holt.The isles are spacious and everywhere was clean and well presented.The staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful

First time shopping here. Good selection of food and I found everything I was looking for. Staff very helpful and friendly. It was a quick visit so unable to say what else they had in store other than salad, bread and potatoes. They had a toilet which was a plus for me.

Not your average Budgens! The selection of produce here was fantastic, almost felt more like a Waitrose or M&S for quality. Prices reflected that to some extent.Clean and bright store with friendly staff. Plenty of self-serve checkouts and limited (both always one in operation when we visited) staffed checkouts.Pay and Display car park on site, but you can claim back the cost at checkout with a voucher off your shopping total or the cash, so ultimately free if you shop there over the value of the parking fee.

Loved this supermarket. So clean and well stocked it was a pleasure to shop here on my holiday to Holt. Lovely supply of Norfolk produce. Especially liked the Norfolk pasties. My only regret is that I didn't buy more!!

My first visit to this Budgens since its reopening.I absolutely loved the store before the fire, and this one is somehow even better!Wide range of produce, mostly locally sourced.Friendly staff, and nice clean, spacious store.Will definitely visit again!

Great range of local produce, lots of fresh bakery items (including Pret) it’s a massive modern store with wide aisles and plenty of choice! Can’t go wrong for choice here!
