Pinderfields Hospital
In my experience, this hospital is staffed by wonderful, gentle, caring nurses who have their work undermined by incompetent doctors.Doctors who'd stop weeks of successful treatment to control and eradicate an infection, under the guise of allowing natural skin biota to return, only for the infection to return to square one a week later.Doctors who instead of answering questions honestly, patronisingly tell you that answering them may cause sleepless nights".Who would sooner put you on a conveyor belt but not tell you their reasons why or allow you to make an informed

Attended this morning for a chest x-ray, referral from my Doctor the day before. Staff were all friendly and efficient. In and out in half an hour.Worst part was driving around the car park to find a space! Thought I'd be waiting ages as I was told you just turn up, no booked appointments, pleasantly surprised.

I would like to thank the staff of the coronary ward for the excellent care given to my brother after his admission from a road accident. Not only that but when I phoned for information the staff were polite and very helpful in spite of the fact that this high care ward is obviously very busy. Thank you for your compassionate care and attention to detail .

Hard to find a parking space, very hard. People dump cars all over but the hospital itself is very efficient. We visited the eye hospital for my mum. A separate building but straight in and out. Only problem I have is that I didn't think her appointment should've been here. Dewsbury would've been more ideal.

Having my mum in Pinderfields for what turned out to be her end of life care. I am humbled & seriously grateful to all the nurses, doctors & cleaning staff on Gate 34 for the immense care you took of my mum & our visiting family. You treated her with dignity & respect. THANKYOU

Brought my nephew to fracture clinic last night. Nurses are very friendly and accommodating. Child felt very much at ease during his stay. Great service by NHS. Keep up the good work.

Absolute shocking hospital my poor dad was in there and basically they asked me to stay and I'm glad I did because they didn't care one bit for him, one nurse was fine the rest just not a care in the world they promised things for my dad and he never got them they didn't offer him drinks yet he could drink perfectly fine, he was dehydrated all night they didn't do anything other than change his sheets and give him meds every now and again poor treatment, treat him very roughly when turning him, very rude staff. Doctors are useless, said they'd give something to help him sleep but got nothing none of them knew what they were doing.

My experience of A+E is shocking I get staff are under staffed but arriving and being placed on a trolly in a corridor full of coughing people for over 5 hours and no pain relief given or even being acknowledged atoll is shocking . Yet you've got drunks and druggys being seen straight away when it's of there own doing why there in the state there in . Was waiting well over 16 hours in a corridor to be seen by a doctor who never showed up in the end I had enough and discharged myself as many other people were having mo choice but to . Most of the young nurses were too interested in gossiping and talking about there own social life than giving painkillers . Also betting on if I man who had a small stroke would gononto have a bigger one as he also discharged himself as he was being left. It's absolutely disgusting

This hospital is absolutely a joke the staff nurses and the receptionist have got the head stuck up the own bk side.. its absolutely disgusting the way the staff treat the ethnic minorities, its bad the absolute racism in these people is obvious they don't even try hiding it!!! Stay away from this virus breeding place!!!

The hospital is not very welcoming. Very cold atmosphere. Says No smoking on hospital grounds. Everytime I need to go to this hospital there's a bunch of patients and nurses smoking at entrance doors. Yet never stopped!! Disgusting smelly hospital. Daughter had ENT appointment. The Asian/indian doctor was abrupt and rude and asking inappropriate questions unrelated to her problems. Had to request a different doctor for her care. Nurses/receptionists look miserable and don't talk nicely to you. Not the most welcoming staff. Hopefully do not have to come here again now!
