Just swapped my Central heating contract to brightside . Engineer was knowledgeable during annual service and friendly.Contract was half the price of my old one with British gas ( and if I had needed British Gas to fix the boiler the earliest appointment was 3 weeks away !! ).I'd previously used brightside in the past without any issues

I booked this Company to come and service my boiler. They came quickly and the engineer who did the work was very professional.However, at the time of servicing the engineer pointed out a problem with the external pipework from the boiler. (NB Brightside did not fit the boiler). I requested that the necessary work should be done and the engineer told me that I should get a quote within a few days. My boiler was serviced on 15th September 2022 and I AM STILL WAITING FOR A QUOTE.I didn't hear anything for a week so I 'phoned the office to be told that there was only one person in the Company who could provide the quote and he was very busy. When he did eventually contact me, I tried to return his call but his 'phone was turned off. I tried 'phoning the office again to be told that he was on holiday for 2 weeeks and I would have to wait until he came back. I asked if the work could be carried out without a quote which appeared to cause some amusement to the person I was talking to who joked that they could charge me what they wanted. I was promised a return call which to date has not happened.I have used this Company before and have always been pleaseed with their customer service and work BUT, I WILL NOT BE USING THEM AGAIN.

Engineer was great but the speed at which the company dealt with our issue was disappointing. Sluggish administration and reluctance to work at the weekend meant it took 5 days to fix the problem with our boiler. The work itself was completed well and we are happy with the outcome but consider it should have been done much more quickly.

Quick response is as good as it got. Ripped off on price, quoted one price via Local Heroes and engineer writes a much lower price, almost half the cost, on the worksheet. The engineer arrived on time but was miserable and felt like he rushed the job, couldn't wait to move onto the next one. Received an email to confirm booking made for him to come back to finish the repair, it wasn't booked their end. When I got hold of someone, the person on the phone was conversing with a manager or someone else in the office who had such a bad attitude, I told them to cancel the callback and I'd find someone else to do the work.

I've always had excellent service when using Brightside. I have a very old boiler and they have never pushed me to have it replaced. They can fit customer supplied parts as well when I have had to source third party or refurbished components, even providing ideas for where they could be sourced. Payment can be made over the phone to the head office. All in all very happy with the service they provide.

Absolutely first class service, the service engineer came out hours after I put the call in and managed to get the heating back on with a minimum of fuss. He was a very polite and efficient young man. Thank you so much for all your efforts.

Had 3 different people from this company around to fix my boiler. 2, very nice quick service and very helpful but the last guy came twice and clearly not a happy man. So moody wasn't interested in anything you had to say about what was happening.almost to the point of talking down to you. Service is fast but coming into someone home don't talk and act like an arse. If he worked for me he would be gone.

6pm Christmas eve no heating so called Brightside and engineer came out on Christmas day morning 30 minutes later all fixed and no fuss. NOT an exorbitant price either. Great service as always. Thank you Brightside

Recently moved into a property and decided to use Brightside to service the boiler as the paperwork showed the previous owner had used them.Engineer showed up and I could hear him on the phone asking somebody more experienced than him for assistance as he was unsure of the boiler system. The household electrics then cuts out, engineer says it has nothing to do with him but when I went to the consumer unit the only MCB that had tripped was the central heating breaker. Engineer then says his finished his service and the system is working and there is no issues with the boiler. I asked him where the pressure gauge is on this boiler as its not on the front panel and the engineer replys his not sure (not quite sure how you can service a boiler if you don't even know the water pressure of the system). Engineer ends up leaving, I go to the boiler and notice it is now displaying a fault code and not working. Call Brightside who tell me that the engineer can't come back and that they will send an engineer out the next day. Took the day off of work the next day and nobody showed up. Would never use Brightside again and anybody that chooses too, do so at your own risk.
