Greggs

It is really nice at Greggs but they could do a bit better at the cleaning system. There was a lady behind the till that had no gloves and no mask and the food was open.

Nice tasting coffee and rolls a manager and staff who greet you properly and actually care about serving you. Very rare these days.

Good value for a quick bite. Staff friendly and fast service

A Greggs bakery in Berkshire has been named as the best in the UK. The bakery in Newbury town centre beat more than 2,000 branches to be crowned the Greggs Shop of the Year. The Northbrook Street branch was recognised for its great customer service and team work and strong sales figures.

So Greg's is normally great as this place was before it was refitted. Now due to the refit they can not hold many cooked pastries in the counter. For example sausage rolls, the one thing every one wants in Greg's, they only have around 20 in a small tray at a time. This also goes for all other bakes. Obviously this means they never have any ready these days bring back the large trays people! Next up hot sandwiches, they have a vast selection that is very popular as you would expect, problem is they have one oven to cook them, one at a time. This results in a queue out of the door most lunchtimes. A victim of a refit and not thinking thing through properly. Come on Greg's you should be able to do much better!

Always a queue which is frustrating as we're only picking something up quick (pack of sausage rolls etc).Usually seems to be one staff serving with everyone in the queue wanting coffee and breakfast baps making up which takes forever.

Standard Greggs with nice food and drink etc. However this one, is quite cramped and most of the time the food and drink aren’t ready on arrival, so this really ruins the whole Greggs experience.

Such a nice team of employees and is always a pleasant place to go for lunch.
