Stunning venue for a small intimate wedding. The team were able to make our dreams come true and nothing was too much for them. Nicki the coordinator was fantastic at guiding and organising the day. All staff were super friendly and intentive, a credit to the owner and manager. This hidden gem in mumbles is set within the most beautiful grounds and a stones throw from the sea front. The food blew our minds and our guests were very impressed. The rooms were comfortable, clean and for the price a bargain in the location.

Wonderful one night stay. Very well appointed courtyard room with excellent shower. Cockles and laverbread for breakfast very lovely. Well stocked bar with great choice of local beers. Easy walking distance to Mumbles and Oystermouth Castle. Looking forward to a return visit.

We spent 2 nights at this lovely friendly hotel, the staff were amazing, room was clean and comfortable and we had a partial sea view, plenty of parking too. The weather turned very hot so the fan in the room was most welcome, the food was amazing we booked an evening meal excellent food and reasonably priced service was excellent too. They gave us water for our trip home which was very welcome and a lovely touch, we had a relaxing stay, will be returning as the very hot weather stopped us walking too far.

Had a wonderful Christmas lunch here which was a pleasant surprise as my last visit for same was far from good. Food excellent & staff are very professional, efficient & welcoming. It was obvious that work has been done to 'lift' this venue as it was looking a little 'tired' & is looking much smarter.

Went with daughter and future son in law to look at possible wedding venue. Nikki the wedding planner was so lovely and welcoming. Not at all pushy. Very accommodating. Daughter and son in law were so impressed with everything they've booked for 2024.

I am a regular visitor to Swansea and Mumbles area, as I use to live there for over 30years, so I thought I give this hotel the opportunity for us to stay, and knowing the location very well.So after the funeral services, we then checked into this hotel, car park itself was plentiful, no issue there, and location is excellent, as it is literally just 2mins walk to the Mumbles promenade/seafront. Checking in was OK, we were shown to our room which seems adequate, bathroom being basic but functional, and the room itself being a bit old fashion with decors as it clearly not kept up with the times. We then ask what time was breakfast, as we needed to get off early the next day (being Saturday) and we were told 7am - Great all sorted! The following morning we went down to the dining room for breakfast at 7am. Found that the dining room was shut, and no breakfast buffet was set up, so we wondered what's going on. So we then decided to pack up our car ready, and main door was also not opened, then one of the staff appeared, and thought we were checking out then, we explained no, and that we came down for breakfast and found that it's not open. So the staff opened the main door to allow us to pack the car while they open the dining room for breakfast. After 10mins, we then returned to the dining room, and the staff was only now preparing the breakfast buffet (for 7am???), so we had to wait, it wasn't until approx 7:30am before we were allow to start to serve ourselves, and studied the menu for cooked breakfast. Whilst breakfast was included for our stay, we couldn't help not noticed that if one wants salmon (either with poached egg, avocado or ham) was an extra supplemental charge of £4 per person - so not quite breakfast fully included! So we decided what we want from the menu and staff came over to inform us that cook breakfast is not until 8am, we explained we were told 7am, but staff said nothing and just walked away. Disappointed by this, we just had a yogurt and croissant (jam was just strawberry, strawberry and more strawberry plastic sachet - which was rubbish and cheap), and a filtered coffee (yep - just that). So as we checked out at 8am, and having missed out on breakfast before we start our long journey back home. the receptionist came out, but he looked like he was a Manager (and noted that the staff was talking with this person before he came out), so he ask if everything was OK, I explained not quite and explained the breakfast situation, he just simply said Oh so sorry about that

Lovely hotel, basic room but perfect for what we wanted and very clean. We got to the hotel 2 hours early and without expecting it they allowed us to check in early. Really lovely staff and beautiful building! Great location.

Room could do with a bit more of a thorough clean as there were cob webs in the corners. Walls are a bit thin so you can hear your neighbors very clearly. Staff are very nice and overall service was really good. The location is fantastic.

Arrived at the hotel to be given room 12 when we tried to enter the room the door handle was broken and would not close.Upon entering the room we found it unclean and underwhelming and there was privacy concerns with cleaners/guests walking past the door so we had no choice but to go back to the check in desk and ask for a change of room. After a 5 minute wait we was upgraded to a new room which they call “superior”. Upon entering the new room it did smell and look clean and fresh. The bed was semi comfortable but the pillows was uncomfortable and did impact sleep. The room was cold. The bathroom was small and crapped the shower was laughable it took ages for the hot water to get hot and the shower was very loud cubicle was so small and tight it made showering a unpleasant experience the door into the shower was so tight to enter if you was a larger human you would not be able to enter. There was no telephone in the room even though we had a piece of paper offering room service just call 100 but we had no phone. You could hear other guests talking and walking outside our door etc. When the lights was turned off to go to sleep you could see the outside lights underneath our door which impacted sleep. There is so much gloss on the window it is holding it all together. Door handles do not match each other and take away from the vibe of the room. Overall just very very average not worth the money it feels like the owners are not spending the money needed to manage the hotel and do maintenance jobs. On the plus side great location to walk to the mumbles village and plenty of car parking. Overall go else where for value for money .
