I cannot speak too highly of this remarkable care home. It has all the appearances of a high quality hotel in every respect and the level of kindness, and caring towards all residents is exceptional.Sadly, my dear wife’s stay was short before her illness claimed her but we are so thankful that she was so well cared for by all at Droitwich Mews.John Hudson & family.

As a member of staff in Droitwich Mews I feel very proud to sing its praises. The staff and management are brilliant, you couldn't pick a better team to work with throughout the whole home. It has been built to a high standard. There is plenty to do on a day to day basis. The residents have lovely rooms with ensuites in every room. Very much looking forward to the summer where they can enjoy the lovely terrace.

My mother spent two years at Droitwich Mews. We were extremely happy with all aspects of the home and her care.1. Building- the home is new, with thick carpets, neutral colour scheme and large reception rooms and lounges for the residents to sit and relax. The design of the building is airy and full of natural light, with its sunny garden and comfortable outdoor seating. When you enter the home, it feels fresh, clean and welcoming.2. Food- the residents that are able, are given a choice every day of meals. My Mom had many preferences, and they were all catered for. She loved the special treats on Valentine’s Day, Easter and of course Christmas. She also loved the choice of eating in her room or eating in the dining room.3. Recreational Activities- The team have their own mini bus for trips out to the local pub, fish and chips, etc. My mother was in a wheelchair, and the transport made it easy for her to still go out and about on occasion. The choir was also a hit, plus the regular entertainers, the cinema room and hairdressers. I loved that the relatives were kept informed about the monthly plan of activities , with invites for the relatives for some special occasions.4. Communication. It was extremely important for me to have good communication links as I live thousands of miles away. We were able to set up an Alexa device so I could drop in and video chat with my Mom on a regular basis. This was truly a lifesaver when she wasn’t feeling well or just wanted to talk during Covid. The team also scanned post for me, and helped her when she needed to contact social services, banks, etc. as I couldn’t always be there. I had regular review video meetings with the senior care team, to check in on how she was doing. It took a long time to find the right home for my Mom. I recommend visiting this one and then trust how you feel when you are being shown around.Pam, Sharon, your team is a credit to you and all your hard work.

Droitwich Mews is a beautiful home, decorated to the highest standards. It is run by a caring, friendly and supportive team. The facilities for residents include a cinema room, hair salon and spa, cafes and multiple themed living areas. The menus created by the in house chefs are delicious!

Droitwich Mews is such a lovely home, always so welcoming, with a friendly atmosphere. The staff are always smiling and happy to help, nothing is ever too much trouble to go above and beyond for the residents. The home itself offer so many wonderful facilities. Droitwich Mews were efficient in fielding our initial enquiry and arranging a date to view the property. The facilities also seemed good. However, the patient assessment period was extremely long, and ongoing communication with social services, the hospital and family were extremely poor. The decision to turn down my mum's application was provided very late in the day, contrary to specialist medical advice we had been given to treat my mum's condition for Dysphagia, which has now subsequently improved. The decision and process not only caused considerable distress to my mother and father but the delay caused social services to rescind their DTA funding and support. All round very disappointing experience. So I would be really clear on the process involved before deciding on whether to consider Droitwich Mews in your shortlist.

The home itself is brand new, and fitted with all what is needed for anyone needing a place of care for both residential and dementia service users. The home takes extra precautions and detail with cleanliness, and is very strict on Covid measures for the staff, residents and anyone needing to visit the home. The facilities are outstanding compared to any home in the area. The cinema room is an example of just how lovely it has to offer. The staff are confident, friendly and professional, with no job to be of any problem, and the management team are always approachable, and willing to answer any questions. There are daily activities for the residents, and a wide choice to suit anyone, the food is out of this world, cooked and prepared professionally and always to a high standard.I would strongly recommend Droitwich Mews to any service user. It has the facilities of a warming, professional, approachable and caring home, with a highly professional team to keep the home to a very high and safe standard.
