The 'old houses' of Sheffield have a real champion in Simon. From the off, he was proactive and professional. The report was thorough, including photographs of areas to be monitored and suggestions of how to fix any faults. His services included a zoom call where he fielded any questions we had and provided names of reputable tradespeople. He has even offered to help us should we have any further questions as we discover more about the house once we move. Want a level 3 survey which not only finds the faults, but also tells you how to fix them the way the house wants you to fix them? Look no further.

I can’t recommend Simon enough. Having great knowledge and a real passion for historic buildings, their architecture and the proper approaches to repair and maintain older buildings. Simon has lots of valuable experience working with councils and preparing supporting materials for Listed Building Consent (LBCs). Simon did a thorough survey of my 1850s townhouse, going much further than most and with restoration advice and help finding those rare skilled building contractors.

Really can't recommend Simon highly enough as a Surveyor. We requested a full survey to be done on the property we were intending to buy - his communication was excellent from start to finish, he fitted in the inspection at short notice especially given his other appointments at the time. The report he produced was extremely thorough and identified a number of issues which I am sure many other surveyors may have missed. The recommendations for remedial work were well considered and the queries we sent to him were answered immediately.Absolutely First class, we couldn't have asked for more and would not hesitate to use Simon's services again!

Simon is conscientious, immensely helpful, prompt and knowledgeable. We commissioned him for a level 3 survey of a house in Sheffield, which he was able to do quickly and thoroughly. He highlighted a number of areas/issues for consideration, and also had a follow up call with us to go through each point, and consider solutions. He is readily willing to answer our questions over email as the house sale is still progressing, and has offered us support in the future too. He clearly knows his stuff and is passionate about what he does. A pleasure working with him.
