Much easier to get to by car than the sugar loaf mountain car park. Free to park and explore.

It's a shame you have to pay to park.We had no change so tried to pay via phone but the system wouldn't allow me to update vehicle details manually or verbally. If there is a charge to pay then perhaps payment machine should card option payment on it to avoid frustration.

Small car park with space for around 6-7 cars with trail going directly to Sugar Loaf + a few others.

Free National Trust car park. Suitable start point for walks up Sugar Loaf and Bryn Arw.

Limited parking up to 10 cars. On the way in lots of potholes drive slowly. Good walk from here not many people till you get to the top.

Not too busy but go early. Room for no more than 10 cars. For the Sugar Loaf ascent, there are no signposts and the map is no longer there. Sugar Loaf summit is about 1 1/2 hours walking, a steady up hill climb with some steeper sections. No waymarkers. You follow your instinct and keep Sugar Loaf summit in sight. But it's not difficult to plot a course to the top. About an hour to return, following the same path back.
