Coco's Nails

Do not go here! I’m saddened to say this as I liked the work they did here but cleanliness and manners mean more. I sat for 40 mins having my nails done, the lady barely spoke a word to me or looked at me when I said thanks as I left. The worst part was sitting watching the guy who did the nails of the girl next to me picking his nose!! They do not use gloves so I dread to think of the contamination etc. makes me feel sick. So sad that to have to write this. I won’t be back.

I like to have short nails and I was excited to get French Gel Manicure on mine. I was very happy with the service as the appointment was 45 minutes long. I did not feel that it was rushed and the beautician was asking me whether I am happy with the results throughout the process.It has been 10 days and there are no chips, no breakage. I have done my housework, cycling, swimming, playing piano and no issues whatsoever. I am very happy with the final results and will recommend this business as they are very professional and the quality of their work speaks for itself.

Great online booking through Google. Good covid safety measures. Lovely colour selection. Loyalty card system. Gel manicure for a reasonable price. Even makes my chubby ugly hands look tolerable. Thanks for speedy service and for letting me run to the cash point because I forgot it was cash only.

Having never visited a nail bar before I wasn’t quite sure what to ask for. I plumped for BIAB as I didn’t want acrylics but liked the idea of a tougher gel. I took a picture with me of what I liked but was told I couldn’t have that with BIAB. I would personally have welcomed some advice for first time customers about available options, colours, shape of nails etc. It was very much assumed that everyone knows exactly what they want and indeed most people were repeat customers. The staff were pleasant enough but didn’t engage with customers at all apart from giving instructions. They talked among themselves the whole time in a language I didn’t understand. Overall I’m really happy with the outcome - my nails are so shiny and fresh looking. I probably will return and may go for something more adventurous next time! And I will also remember to take cash as they don’t take cards.

I found the staff rude speaking in there own language.My nails where ok but had to go back as the gel peeled off and my nails got to hot and felt like they were on fire under the lamps and all they did was laugh will not be going back

The worst experience ever. ..whole place was just dirty and unhygienic. I regret me staying for the service. All the tools were stored under the counter and clearly used on multiple clients without sterilising. I can't believe this place have such a high rating if service is sooo poor. Please, don't go there if you care about your own health. I will be reporting this place to health authorities.

Been coming for over a year and sadly I have noticed an incline in the quality of work, my acrylics done this week are an odd shape on the surface and almost dip in the middle - felt like a rushed job. These were for my wedding at the weekend and are possibly the worst set I’ve had done at coco’s, will likely pay out again now to get them redone elsewhere, such a shame as used to recommend to all my friends.

Overall it was an ok experience. Despite having an appointment, it felt a bit rushed, and I noticed after getting home that there was quite a lot of excess acrylic on the underneath of a few of the nails. The nail polish also didn't cover the full tips of most of the nails, so the acrylic could be seen a little. I wasn't asked about the order of colours I wanted (I had pastel rainbow colours) and my social anxiety meant I didn't feel comfortable asking for her to change it after she had already started with the first colour, which meant I didn't quite end up with the nails I wanted. They were nice enough though, and I would probably use them again if absolutely necessary but will be sticking with my usual nail salon where possible in future.

Excellent service, they were quick, professional and the salon is clean and tidy.Very good if you want to be in and out quickly. My nails look lovely and the prices are affordable.
