Wow, a proper antique shop. Absolutely crammed with wonderful things. Owner very friendly and willing to do a deal. If you are looking for that individual item for home, workshop or business its the place for you.

Bought a galvanised bath online and when I went to pick it up they went to enormous trouble to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. The actual chapel is a real Aladdin's cave of interesting items and I will definitely be back for a proper browse. Couldn't fault their friendliness and service.

Found Tony to be friendly and honest. His prices are very reasonable and he has some most unusual pieces in his shop. Chose to have the water feature we purchased sent to us as it was heavy. The charge quoted by the courier Tony uses was excellent and she was extremely efficient. Highly recommend Ebenezer Chapel.

Last year when I was in desperate need of cash I contacted Tony Brookfield who owns the business to see how much I could get for my reproduction writing bureau He came over and said it was only for worth £20. I accepted it because I was desperate. The next day I went to another dealer and asked about my bureau. I was told it was worth at least £75. I was devastated so I went back to EAE and told Mr Brookfield I knew my desk was worth more and wanted to buy it back. He wasn't happy and charged me £40 to buy it back. Also he told me if I ever my face there again he would smash my face up. He came right to me nose to nose, and I was and still am on crutches and he threatened me. He also told me he would smash the bureau up if I didn't pick it up next day. I later sold it at a fair price to another dealer. My advice - just be careful.Every word of this review is true
