Darwen Aldridge Community Academy

I live up the road from the school (on red earth road) and the children behave like wild animals on their way to and from school, and cause disruption without fail every single day. The language from these children is disgusting, and there is no patrolling outside the school gates to keep this under control. Just the other week, my car windows where smashed in in broad daylight after school, I have seen them hurling abuse at passers by, and have also witnessed some pretty shocking bullying round the back alley of my house. Sending your child there is asking for them to pick up some awful behaviour. Just an absolute disgrace.

Don't send your kids here unless you don't like them

Current sixth former - it's the best of a bad lot, it has its issues and its problems, namely having 5 principals and a complete lack of ability to communicate with students.

All the teachers are fatherless 1 star

I went here for 1 month and came out with depression and anxiety, I got bullied and the teachers knew about it but did nothing I got stuff thrown at me in class and name called, pushed around by other students etc. and the teachers did nothing to stop this even though they saw it im still seeking help 4 years later from the trauma. Please don't send your child here unless you want them to get bullied and ignored by teachers.

I would love to rate lower than a star but anyways,,, the teachers have no respect for the pupils,,, they have no idea how to help out with bullying,,, my cousin got bullied so much that he has already left the school.
