Tapi Carpets & Floors

I went into Tapi in Guiseley for my flooring the staff in the store were very friendly I even had a lovely coffee.

Three times we have ordered carpets from Tapi. First time they couldn't fit - the van broke down. We had to reschedule furniture delivery. 2nd time all was well. 3rd time - expecting delivery tomorrow but apparently a fault in the carpet. We are having two new beds on Friday. The room is empty at the moment. Will have to see if we can put delivery back. We should have learnt our lesson and NOT trusted them but never ever again. Don't offer any compensation for inconvenience and our extra payments for rescheduling bed deliveries. We have had carpets all our married life over 50 years and never experienced service like this..Mrs Janet Sykes

Called in for a bit of flooring for a room we don’t use! After been to a store in the same retail park (where they tried to make us buy a carpet for 100s which we didn’t need) called in to tapi and explained what we wanted and was shown carpets in the price we wanted! (Name in receipt was Craig) we found one we loved but was a tad expensive! Craig managed to find a remnant in the same carpet! My husband fitted in and o love it! Will definitely recommend to anyone!

Perfect service from the guiseley store, came in as it was raining. The carpets caught my eye and i just had to have a look. Staff were very welcoming. I spoke to the gentlemen handling admin and the other colleagues, and they just changed my mind to getting the best carpets ever. Was thinking of going to carpet right but im glad i changed my mind because my carpets are amazing. Thank you tapi.

So far very poor experience, we filled out the online for and invited a salesman out to provide us a quote for levelling the floor and fitting. All went well until the Salesman actually joked about if he owned our 2 rescue house rabbits he would have killed and eaten them (how many times does a salesman say he is going to kill someone's pets and eat them) utterly disgraceful and not funny, we just laughed it off at the time very insulted. despite this we ordered the flooring as we are having a renovation and we needed it doing urgently. Fast forward and the people who came to level the floors turned up with 5 bags of screed, it turns out that either the sales man or some one at the office had put the job down wrong it actually needs boarding and screeding. As they did not have the materials and were going on holiday I have had to rebook them for a couple for weeks time.What is more infuriating to accommodate the floor levelling I had to empty the entire room, moving all the units drier, washer, freezer into the living room. I also spent considerable time disconnecting the electric oven and appliances from the mains, disconnecting all the water pipes and waste pipes and removed the sink unit into the garden. Which all took an entire day moving them out and back again for nothing.

Visited 6 months ago wanting flooring, totally ignored by salesman and so we left. Now needing flooring again so decided to give them another chance, entered the store and no acknowledgement whatsoever yet again. That’s 2 sales they have lost out in now, I won’t be returning a third time. Went to the other local carpet shop and the guy could not do enough to help . Tapi get your act together

Brilliant experience. When things were not going to plan the manager, Tim took the bull by the horns. A very proactive response was required and was delivered.

From walking into the store to leaving the staff made us feel welcome. Although my wife and I didn’t purchase anything on this occasion, we will make sure that Tapi will be our first port of call when our project is ready for completion .Although Tim was busy with another customer, he was still attentive and answered all our questions
