Quiet pub, off the beaten track. Good selection of local beers and more regular brews. Great beer garden overlooking a small harbour area. Didn’t try the food but looked ok. Proper Job is well worth a try.

We found this little pub after a walk along the SW coast path at Pentewan, and what a find! We had an amazing dinner there, I had a special, the hake which came on a bed of seasoned new potatoes, broccoli, and peas shoots with a delicious sauce. My partner went for the burger, which he said was fantastic. The chips were amazing. The portions were generous and not at the sacrifice of quality! We will return!

Generous portions of delicious food. Came here for Sunday lunch with two friends last week and we all thoroughly enjoyed the veggie roast. Definitely book in advance though!

The garlic bread with cheese was nice, and a generous portion.I enjoyed the Sri Lankan Coconut Curry, tasted nice and presented well.The service was friendly and also quick.

Great little find for us. We enjoyed our meals here along with excellent beers. Nice garden too when the weather is nice. The staff was extremely accommodating, even when not booked they do their best to accommodate and we were never unable to get seated. Can definitely recommend.

Staying nearby on holiday. Have eaten here twice, once when it was busy as and again when very quiet. Staff polite and friendly, super service and delicious food. Actually witnessed a customer's large dog bite a member of staff (drawing blood), very calmly dealt with. Will return for sure.

Our lunch was great, the bean chilli dirty fries were lush and a big portion and the Tandoori chicken wings starter were so tasty, great vibe in the pub with super service and friendly staff throughout, especially Russ, happy days!

Visited on Easter bank holiday Saturday lunchtime . Very helpful staff, great range of gluten free options, in fact the best gluten free menu I have ever seen. Also vegan options. Traditional Cornish pub with the right amount of tasteful decor. Outside seating available if the weather allows. Advisable to book a table in advance especially for an evening. Children's menu was a nice selection and food top quality.

Walked along the coastal path from Mevagissey and stopped in this lovely village for lunch. We enjoyed refreshing drinks and a tasty BBQ brisket ciabatta on the picnic grounds. Friendly service, nicely prepared meal, spotlessly clean, beautiful location.
