Lovely traditional pub with cosy fireplace. Had my nans wake here and the staff were so accommodating and everyone commented how great the buffet was (especially the pork pies!)Definitely recommend

Worst pub I've ever been to.Charged us 50p for a tap water which I'm almost certain is illegal. Bar staff tried telling me my ID was fake too and not long after some guy who I assume is the owner ran up out of no where and was all in my face shouting telling me how he 'doesn't f**k about' and asking me to 'step outside' all because I have a provisional license. This was all in the space of about 5 minutes and his breath stank.What a joke.

Very welcoming staff and great home cooked food. So nice to be in a proper pub. If you're looking for cocktails and canapés look elsewhere. If you want a good wholesome independent pub, this is one.

The Shepherds Inn was OK, it is definitely a locals pub. We did feel a bit uncomfortable when the locals kept looking at us. The food was OK and the young bar server was friendly. One thing we did find was there was outside benches put on the disabled parking space - not very disabled friendly!!

Absolutely amazing service! The staff are a delight! The owners actually interact with the customers as well, the only thing I can fault is the fact that it can get a little pricey but to be honest when enquired about it's due to the beer and soft drinks tax. It's otherwise amazing and the atmosphere is one you won't get anywhere else.

A spotless, traditional pub, with a friendly, personable owner, and wife. Reasonably priced drinks, and an impressive menu, with a traditional Sunday Roast dinner. Worth a ride out, in the car, definitely!

Nice local pub, though not one we usually visit. There was a live music night on which we enjoyed very much. We hope to visit again for the next one in January.
