Love coming here I’m a regular the food is always brilliant staff are great. Drinks prices are very good for what you get. Large car park that’s now not trashed by macdonals.

In regards to food, would avoid. Ate here due to staying at the premier for a work trip. Food off the original menu was unsatisfactory, plates came out boiling hot so clearly been microwaved, dry, took forever coming out when hardly anyone in the restaurant, the chicken and bacon salad was ridiculous just a couple of lettuce leaves over cooked chicken and a sprinkle of cooked bacon less than a rasher, with a handful of greasy croutons. No flavour on the chicken wings, they looked like they had been boiled. Went for the carvery on night 2 to be told sold out of meat, at a carvery!! BBQ sauce didn’t taste like bbq, which was mentioned by my partner and guests that came to visit on different dishes. Only good thing to say would be the cooked breakfast and the service of a “handful” of staff. Some rude and abrupt, some were very friendly and helpful, including the 2 women on breakfast.

Best carvery i’ve ever been to. It surpasses expectations. The meats were tender, moist and generously served. Good range of vegetables, potato dishes and sauces. Excellent yorkies! All at an affordable price and the staff were lovely. We will return!

We came and enjoyed a carvery here and was delighted with the service and the quality of the food. Paul was my server and I appreciated that everything was neat and tidy. The meats were plentiful and he even filled up the mashed potatoes with fresh before we helped ourselves. There were a couple of other people in line and I saw him take the time to listen to what it was they wanted. The red cabbage and the cauliflower cheese were excellent along with the more traditional veg. Great value for money and it was nice that they had sauces on the side. Cranberry and apple and mustard.

Came here last night from London seeing an old friend who recommended this place.Service was on point, bar staff were great and the food was top notch.Had our 3 year old son with us, more than happy to let him wander about and have a good time.Would definitely return next time I’m in the area.

Had a nice meal. Mixed grill my daughter had was great. I had hunters chicken with large salad but was mainly lettuce and other leaves, not very much other salad vegetables

Had a lovely all you can eat breakfast on Sunday at 9am. Food was lovely and service was amazing! Yvonne was the host on this day, she was so very lovely and had an amazing singing voice. All aspects of the visit were spectacular. We will definitely be returning ☺️ x

Adjacent to the Premier Inn, so great location. The online table reservation system worked very well. A very busy pub with lots of happiness and friendly staff. I tried the table ordering app and it worked a treat even easy to add discount codes. Service was excellent and food tasted very nice at a reasonable price. The carvery smelt lovely but had my eye on steak. Keep up the excellent customer service and great standard of food.
