I can’t say Iv ever had a good experience here , I went on Tuesday 22nd of august ,first time in years as last time I went for a new tv I ended up walking out and buying a tv from Argos due to poor service . Zero customer service , on Tuesday we stood for ages waiting for someone to see to us as my elderly mother wanted to purchase a new 55” tv, I had to source my mum a seat while we waited. I went down to tills and spoke to a guy with dark hair and scruffy dressed and chatting to another member of staff , he said someone will be with you shortly , again we waited by tvs, eventually a man walked up and said how can I help? , it was the man from the tills who I had already spoken to , he told us the tv mum wanted wasn’t in stock , but could deliver it the next day for extra £30!! My mum refused and picked a tv that was cheaper , the man insisted on putting the tv into the back of our car, speaking to us like we were stupid “you will need to move that umbrella “ my husband was getting pretty annoyed . It is safe to say I will not be crossing the door of curry’s dumfries again. Very unfortunate to be honest that in some stores the customer is made to feel insignificant .

Only saw one person available to help. After half an hour someone went onto the till. We waited nearly ten minutes to get served. Only wanted a kettle. Put it back

Most stuff cheaper online even through curry's, think they use store so customer's could see good up close.

Got pounced on by a member of staff the second I walked in, of course there's a fine line between the staff being helpful and the customer feeling that advice isn't forthcoming, just wait 15 seconds before approaching the customer. As usual everything was on show for the customer to browse, this is important as everyone knows it can be important to see an item before buying. I was disappointed to see most of the televisions switched off, surely Currys aren't skimping on the electricity. All that said, I was able to view the item I was interested in and made my purchase online. The only reason for four stars and not five is the over eager member of staff

Customer service very helpful and friendly, I went in to view new phones, but unfortunately all of the high end phones are completely bolted down, meaning that you cannot view the backs of them, or pick them up to get a feel, which was most of the point of going in in person. I understand why they are not fully accessible, but it would be nice if the staff were able to unlock them for customers to try out.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Trouble is that they sell ID mobile contracts that are more expensive than gojng direct to ID.

Went back after vowing not to go again. The staff were horrified at why I didn't want to go + buy anything

Very unhelpful. Samsung microwave oven not working which was purchased at curry's. Neither Samsung or curry's want to help, promised repairs someone to come 3 times, nothing. Buy elsewhere! Repair sheet had a bloke from curry's name on it. When asked he said it wasn't him????
