We all like free parking! It’s part of your National Trust membership, as Shugborough hall and gardens are about 10min walk. Car park is very very busy at the weekends and if you arrive after 10-1030 you may have to park on the grass as the hard standing sections will be full. Often has volunteers guiding and parking you, but you will be stacked like sardines! Lots of nice walks around the estate and plenty of Victorian follies to peruse, gardens are well kept and it’s a great day out for dogs, kids and families. Only missing out on 5 stars because it’s soo rammed and you may have to park on the grass.

Great place to visit beautiful house grounds plenty of land to walk on .lovely cafe with outdoor tables second hand book shop and their shop.excellent toilets.perfrct day out .

Very small car park, on a weekend would recommend getting there early to guarantee you get a spot!!
