Specsavers Opticians and Audiologists - Kings Heath

Not good. Paid over 600 for several pairs of specs. Approx every 8-10 months since then they've needed fixing. They did fix them 3 times which I was happy with despite the inconvenience. Fine up until recently then they said they wouldn't fix them because they're out of warranty. They say it's my own fault for them breaking because I wear a helmet. Bear in mind I have glasses from over 20 years ago still in decent condition. These need fixing less than a year later - 4 times! Evidently they have a terrible design flaw. Manager seemed reasonable certainly compared to their extremely rude and argumentative/defensive /accusatory FOH staff and promised he'd try to sort it. Been promised a phone call this afternoon" since 2 weeks ago . No response. They just don't care. Happy to take your money for their substandard items but not to honour their word. They've had 1000's of £s off me over the years.Bad people.Not happy and not impressed. Avoid.Follow up - after this review I have been in communication with them again and been assured of a call from the manager

I had my contact lenses check up . I needed to reschedule appointment for test as I was unwell. Received link to schedule appointment but there are no dates available... now fun part Good luck trying to get hold of anyone there . Ive tried calling many times, no answer.... cental line sends me back to speak directly to the store as they can't help.. wasted my initial appointment check up as 4 weeks on I still don't have lenses.

If you call the store direct, you can never seem to get through. I personally went into store (Thursday)to order my contact lens. I was told they would be there in 1 week , as I needed them for a holiday I had booked. I called them a week later only to find out they had only ordered them the following Wednesday after my visit. So I had to use my prescription and order some online , paying a premium for guaranteed next day delivery.Very disappointed with the service, I have been a customer for many years , so maybe now I will seek other options that are available.

I'll say zero star for this Kings Heath Specsavers. We attended for our appointment around 9:45. I was advised via call that the appointment will take place 09:50. We checked in and following initially screening I was advised that our appointment is not until 10:50?!! Why they haven't said anything when we checked in. One of the staff was keep telling us 15 minutes so so!! She called another individual over us and this was racially motivated. Please avoid this branch and they have poor staff retention rate.Dr Khan

I just went in today as my glasses were snapped by the hands of my three years old .Unfortunately I forgot to ask the name of the staff that helped me , but he was a new starter at the branch .This employee was one of the most pleasant people I have encountered . Really professional and ready to help .Great work !

I like my glasses, beautiful, I can see well for distance and near. But the varifocal lenses are narrow, although I have paid extra £150 for wider view. The glasses case is beautiful but very weak, just like a paper case and not safe to keep my glasses in it in a bag.

Specsavers are great. Everything was in order for me, and my visit was exceptional. Great bargains with their 2 for 1 deals. Would highly recommend to everyone.

I had contracted shingles in my right eye and after months it has become painful and light sensitive. My opticians at specsaver kingsheath checked my OCT scans and my eye thoroughly and explained the whole situation. The staff was very helpful and polite and I was overwhelmed with the care optician showed. She consulted other members for verification on my clinical result and took her time with the whole procedure. Totally recommend this place !
