Doux Chaton

Delicious vietnamese food and reasonable prices. We had the noodle salad, bahn mi and pho. They were all really good and all very good portions. The bubble tea was amazing too. Highly recommend.

I heard about Doux Chaton through friends and family and I knew I had to try and I can honestly say it did not disappoint! Coming from a Vietnamese/Chinese background I can hand on my heart say the food tastes like home. The atmosphere was on point and the restaurant was full (rightly so) the staff were so polite and accommodating making sure we had all our condiments, chops sticks any extra garnishes. I’m still dreaming about the food now. I WILL be back! Everyone needs to experience Doux Chaton in their life.

First visit and the food was great! we had Pork belly and King prawns spring rolls as starters, and big bowl of Beef Pho and Banh Xeo. All very filling and very healthy! IMO the Pho is better and good size than most viet restaurants in the city centre. The staff were very nice and the price is good for the amount of food you get! I hope they'll have more options soon!

Can't recommend this little gem of a restaurant highly enough. Fantastic Vietnamese food at very reasonable prices and the staff are lovely. Beware: portions are huge.

Unfortunately I don’t have any photos to share as I have finished it all. I Ordered the fried rice Com Rang and it’s absolutely amazing. It’s available in Tofu or Chicken (I had a pork version as a special request). Seasoned very well and cooked near to perfection it also provided with such generous portions (Good for the hungry ones). No complaints, I have been coming here since it opened and it never fails to serve such pleasure. Hats off to the chefs and the team! You’re all amazing!I’ll definitely come back again. Definitely a gem!

Really good Vietnamese restaurant. You need to order and pay at the bar, which is a bit inconvenient (even more when you're trying to share food and want to split the bill). But otherwise everything is great. The food is amazing, and there's sooo much of it for a great value.

This place is incredible. I wasn't going to review it initially to try and keep it a secret. It appears the secret is out. I'd give it 6/5 if that was possible. Without exaggeration, it's the nicest food I've had. The pho is phenomenal, the spring rolls are sensational and the bahn mi are truly delicious. The staff are lovely and service is so fast. Highly recommended

A very rude manager/owner’s daughter!Food was fine, but the manager (who apparently is the owner’s daughter) determined to give us the worst customer experience!!!First off, this is a causal restaurant where you have to order and pay at the counter before your food is served. We ordered our food and sat down, and noticed that we didn’t have enough chopsticks, so I grabbed a few from the next table (and I made sure that there are enough left for the other guests). But the manager (a young lady so proudly called herself that) wasn’t happy about that and decided to give us a warning and lecture on “you shall never do it again next time!!!”. I was very upset by that and argued that if she didn’t want her guests to do that, she should ensure all table supplies are refilled before sitting the next guests. She said “we already do that…” but apparently they didn’t in this occasion.Having been in the restaurant business previously, I would never treat my guests with this manner. I would have approached the table and apologise for not having enough chopsticks and offer some, and quickly refill for all the tables. I would also know when to stop arguing with the customers when I told her that I was very upset with her attitude. She clearly didn’t care how she makes the customers feel… very sad!She was determined to win her argument and embarrass her customers. Apparently she is the daughter of the owner, who I can tell is quite intelligent and confident in herself. But I sincerely hope this young lady will not ruin a business that her parents took years of hard work to build…This is the first review I write and sadly it is such an unpleasant one…
