Asda Wakefield Dewsbury Road Supermarket

Great experience ...had all i didnt get on my online delivery an i personally find all staff helpful and friendly being Ali, Paul June and Alex that really stand out and go above and beyond!

I think there was a man called Alex and he helped me when i dropped my eggs. What a lovely worker.

I visit Asda quite regularly and today I experienced the worst customer service. I asked if there is any semi skimmed milk and I was given an abrupt response of it’s on the wagon. No apology or are you k to wait. When questioned about her reply she didn’t care and just replied with well sorry. It felt like she didn’t want to be there. Asda management get your staff sorted during busy periods.

Great variety as you would expect from a supermarket and great prices, very affordable! Friendly staff, lots of available parking. Give them a try

Staff are absolutely rude, arrogant and nosey, with minimal respect for regular customers spending a fortune at the place! The only nice staff are Sharon and (sorry not sure what his name is!) the short, bald guy that is usually on checkouts. Was always my regular supermarket going in there multiple times a week but won't be going in there again after today and a build up of obnoxiousness. The security guard is a piece of work, went in on Christmas Eve last year and was stood talking to some women while waiting near doors for a taxi about him being abusive to a customer because she came in her pajamas, said to her get a job you scruff"

Called in this morning for some milk there wasn't any which I thought was unusual so I thought I'd ask a member of staff I wish I hadn't bothered now the girl on the pizza counter was very abrupt in her manner only it needed was no we have none in store I walked away and bit my lip this time but I won't do next time her customer service needs some work doing she works their she doesn't own the store

A male staff member was very helpful on two separate visits

On a beautiful Thursday morning, I went to Asda Dewsbury Road.I desperately needed to run some errands, as my grandparents would come over that evening. Of course, I needed to serve them a delicious and grande five course meal. I must admit that I had not thought about what I wanted to make for dinner yet, so I went unprepared.After about fifteen minutes of being in a state of utter despair, it was like the heavens opened and my saviour had appeared. He said his name was Alex. He took the time to think with me about dinner, gave me some solid advice and even took the time to walk with me and recommend the best products they had to offer!The whole ordeal took over an hour, and I asked Alex multiple times if he did not need to go back to his work, but he told me with a friendly smile: ''Don't worry about it!''After I had gathered all the ingredients, I made sure to thank him profusely. He truly is a very competent, and friendly employee. We even had a lovely conversation about our favourite show.That night, I served a scrumptious meal that brought my grandparents to tears. They praised me and my cooking skills, but all I can say is, ''thank you Alex for taking the time to help me with my groceries'', best Asda employee by a long shot.

Staff member Charlie was very helpful and went out of his way to help me with my shopping.
