Stourcote Dental Practice

I arrived early and was seen straight away. Both the dentist, Meena, and her nurse were very friendly and efficient and made my treatment as comfortable as is possible in the circumstances. Their efficiency and friendly manner made it almost a pleasure to be treated.

Hannah and Polly on reception were absolutely lovely and full of smiles, it was a pleasure interacting with them. As always I cannot fault the dentist and hygienist for their excellent work!

I recently visited Stourcote Dental Practice, and I must say, it was an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment I walked in, the warm and friendly atmosphere put me at ease. The staff were incredibly professional and attentive, ensuring that all my concerns were addressed.The dental practitioners at Stourcote are truly exceptional. They displayed an impressive level of expertise and skill, providing me with comprehensive and personalised care. They took the time to explain each step of the procedure, ensuring that I felt comfortable throughout. Caroline was so helpful getting me an emergency appointment with Matthew. I was so thankful as my crown had fallen out. Matthew always greets you with a lovely smile and makes you feel relaxed. He repaired the crown without any discomfort, his friendly nature always ensures you leave the surgery with a smile.My appointments since lockdown have been at Worcester Street so I was very impressed with the addition of lockers for handbags and the way the waiting room had been set out. The environment felt safe as all requirements had been covered.Pauline Vaughan

Poor experience to say the least. Waited 30 to 40 mins past the agreed appointment time and ended up leaving and not having the appointment due to this delay and time lost from work. Also I had a cleaning scheduled after the initial examination but was then told that cleaning is apparently optional and is based only if there was time after the examination. This was not indicated when the appointment was made and the receptionist was more interested in sale of a dental plan even before I had an intial examination. Clearly there is lack of professionalism, communication and accountability between the dentist and the reception staff. Finally there was duplication of filling in of medical history forms before and during the appointment as apparently is practice policy to fill in the medical history online forms and then paper forms which are exactly the same. This is very inefficient. I Would not recommend this dental practice.

Brilliant service! I wasn't a patient at this practice when I phoned for my initial appointment, but I had a dental emergency and was not getting the right care at my previous practice. Stourcote Dental fitted me in for an appointment fast, identified what needed to be done, and sorted me out. They were friendly and caring from start to finish. Everyone I dealt with was lovely, I've never had such great dental care. I'm terrified of going to the dentist so extra special thanks for taking care of me. I'll be a lot less nervous when I come back!

Poor service and very disorganisedThe dentist saw me 25 minutes after my appointment time. Not ideal since I had to take time off work. My appointment was meant to be 40min which I was told included my first consultation and a hygiene cleaning (I specifically asked for a cleaning to be booked as I wanted to get it sorted out on the same visit). The dentists consultation which included some xrays and an inspection of my teeth took 30min. The dentist then told me she didn't have time to do the cleaning after my consultation and that id have to then book a time on a different date. I was surprised since I specifically asked for time to be booked for both! Receptionist lied and says she told me it was possible they would run out of time which was not ever told to me prior to me making the appointment. All I was told when I initially booked was that my appointment would include a consultation and then a cleaning by the dentist just as I requested. So basically I received half the service I booked and wasted half my time.The Receptionists asked u fill in the same forms online and also on paper ( what is the point?). It maybe your practice policy but its a waste of the patients time. I have also struggled getting in contact with the practice via phone calls yet there are usually 3 receptionists sat at the front desk. There is a big disconnect between what the Receptionist books you in for versus what the dentist then provides. This is the most unprofessional dental practice I've been to. It was my first and last visit to them....save your money and time...go to a better dental practice!

Friendly receptionists lovely waiting room. Hygienist really nice gave useful advice. Parking at rear sometimes struggle fo space.
