St Marys Social Club

Bit greedy charging a tenner for entry and then having to pay for the bacon & spuds on St Patricks day. Hopefully they'll learn their lesson for next year.

Lovely spacious social club with 2 bars and garden. Great darts venue and prices are good. Nice members to. Although parking is sometimes a nightmare but parking permits are available at the bar for a couple of quid. The inside decor and gents toilets could do with a bit of modernising and cleaning of the venue needs to be done more regularly. But would recommend this place to anyone.

Like a old style social club in the nicest possible way

I have recently attended an event here and whilst the place itself was good the grumpy and rude male Barman let it down. He made rude comments all night to people, criticized the way people looked, slammed drinks that he had just made onto the bar. He was also really rude to the family holding the event and did this in front of their guests. He shouted at them, insulted them and was generally rude. Safe to say I will not be booking any events here or want to attend any if he is in charge again.

We were here for paddys day, it was the best day we have had out as a family in years, made feel so welcome, its a home away from home, run by the most amazing family and people, we will be back soon with out the kids lol

Just a brilliant Irish club. Very welcoming and a friendly crowd. You have to become a member. It's a lovely place to relax or just enjoy the entertainment thay put on. Highly recommended

Although I cant say the actual owners are at fault but i am not very happy with 1 of the staff who from the moment she arrived at night criticized what people did say or looked likeShe even went to the point of telling me to my face i do not have mental health and need help even though I have 14 illnesses she upset me and my family and had no respect for feelings that she caused herself with no sense of humour and total disregard for anybody else apart from her own opinions that have abound of kept to herself.I struggle to go out normally and after going out to a birthday party she as a person herself completely destroyed my confidence and feelings with her rude unjustified attitude and opinions of people just because they had a drink in there hand.Apparently she works in catering well all I can say is she obviously dont get many bookings the way she treats peopleMaybe she needs to learn to keep her own opinions to herslef instead of trying to annoy people from start to end

Cheap, great service. Live bands. Great for any function. Family friendly, garden.Situated in a secluded spot, which is quaintly pleasing. Parking on the roads available. Taxi rank around the corner
