We’ve just had a new garage door fitted today and it is excellent. We contacted three different specialists to get quotes and Kevin was the only one who took the time to properly follow up with us. He came out and gave us a written quote at the same time he repaired our existing garage door mechanism free to charge to ride us over.The door has been installed immaculately and the workmanship is excellent.I would recommend.

Recommended to me by a friend, Garage Door Expert retrofitted me a Hormann garage door opener onto my Hormann sectional door. I'm an engineer myself so expect high quality workmanship and understanding of products and they excel in these areas! I also like to ask intricate questions and the fitter (Richard) was EXCELLENT, can't praise more highly. Right from the initial inquiry Kevin was also excellent giving me full information about fitting different electrical/Bluetooth opening systems to it and also exactly how I remove the door for painting which I didn't know was quite so easy and Richard again went through this with me. Superb. Would recommend to anyone!

After contacting two other local garage door specialists who never came back to me after the first call, Kevin arranged to visit within 24hrs of first contact. His son, Callum and colleague did an excellent job. My garage door wouldn't open and I was worried that it'd need completely replacing. They opened it, assessed and resolved the issue and gave the door a full service within an hour.It's definitely taken a weight off of my shoulders. They took time to explain what the problem was and wha they had done to fix but also additional advice on how to look after the door moving forward.I would recommend to everyone and I can't recommend highly enough!

About ten years ago I had my Garage door repaired on what was then a 30 year old property, we also had a garage door opener fitted, this really changed our life, no more getting in and out in the bad weather, drive up door opens into the garage in the dry if its raining etc, by which time its closing behind you as you walk indoors, just with a button fob press.So when it came to replace the garage door 10 years later, we asked the same company back Garage Door Expert, the reason for the replacement was purely cosmetic as it was not innkeeping with our modernised house, instead of the canopy door we were shown the very latest design in a panel doors and asked Kevin the owner to fit it for us, he has been joined by his son Callum and also Richard to fit the door, this was redesigned to perfectly suit the opening, also we can use our, iPhone’s to operate the door, as well as the key fobs.I can recommend Garage Door Expert for a friendly professional advice and fitting, its worth asking for a quote, did I mention no more garage door painting!Paul

Kevin and Allan arrived on time last Saturday 20 May just before 9 a.m. as arranged to fit our new garage door - a Hormann White Vertical Framed Canopy manual garage door - they started to dismantle original roller door straight away then on to fitting new door and just before 11 a.m. the job was completed. Very professional job and new garage door is perfect for our needs with ease of use for 2 senior citizens" especially my wife who was really struggling with operating the old heavy roller door.No hesitation in recommending Kevin's garage door company and he's definitely "a garage door expert" in our opinion
