Anchor Bay Holidays

We have stayed in various accommodations over the years and always found them to be very clean, staff friendly and helpful. The food to be good value and again staff always on hand if required. The Swimming pool is great, along with the new activities - which are extra but are all an added bonus to the site.

First time visit to Anchor bay village. Always a worry when you haven’t been to a place before. Let me reassure you it’s been absolutely fantastic seriously. I came here for my 60th birthday yesterday 1st July with my wife and 2 x little dogs staying in Lindlee cottage one of the recommendations by Anthony. First class accommodation very homely pet friendly another bonus. My only issue was internet had to go outdoors so could post pictures on or talk by mobile as struggling to talk. Apart from that truly fantastic experience. Would I come again most definitely and I would recommend to all my work colleagues, family, friends to definitely visit here. A lovely fresh clean cottage. It had everything we needed. Patio doors opened out on to a lovely communal garden. There is only one slight negative which is that it is a bit difficult for people with mobility problems. Otherwise we had a perfect stay.

Lovely winter break at this cottage. Very cosy, had everything we needed including the perfect view.

Great lodge and fab location on the lake. Everything you could need is provided. Only let down was the bed it was so uncomfortable far too hard caused some sleepless nights

We have just returned from a lovely relaxing 2 weeks stay at The Bay, we booked using Anchor Bay Holidays again, choosing to stay at Anchor at the Bay property this year as they have a EV charger point, The house is very spacious with 3 good sized bedrooms, the beds were extremely comfy, nice having a choice between a bath or shower, especially after long walks with our dogs & needing to give my tired legs a good soak. Downstairs kitchen & dining area with a smart TV also, I was spoilt with a lovely spacious kitchen that had quality equipment & plenty of utensils, crockery & pans, a decent large fridge/freezer & an additional fridge for our wine, beer & cider, the dining area has a lovely large dining table that seats 8 so perfect for large family units holidaying together. The lounge has a fabulous huge leather reclining sofa & a large smart TV. Our hosts were fabulous from booking & right through our stay, nothing was to much trouble, I personally feel they go above & beyond to ensure their customers have a stress free & relaxing holiday, I highly recommend staying at Anthony’s property it really is a home away from home… looking forward to next year already.

Great property in a good location for the pub and access to the beach.One big downside is that the information states there are EV chargers on-site however there isn’t.As we drive an EV then we would either need to pay more for one of the larger properties that have chargers or find somewhere else to stay.The information needs updating.

I spent a very pleasant four days with two other family members at A Wave From It All last week. The property is very comfortable, well equiped, clean and light filled. It is well situated in The Bay complex which itself is an ideal, peaceful place to stay. We particularly liked the easy access to the marvellous beach. I would definately return.
