Shropshire Camping & Pods
Great location next to a pub, good heating considering it was freezing ! Enough space between each pod. Good hiking trails and parking always available. Spacious and pricing was matched by this... the ones with the jacuzzi are amazing, although can get slippy

A great location for exploring the Long Mynd. Well sized and maintained camping plots, some are close to a quiet road. Toilet and shower facilities are clean and tidy. A good selection of camping pods are available with hot tubs, just what's needed after a hard day walking or riding. To top it off there is a bike shop on site and a cracking pub at the entrance that offers superb food and real ales.

Cute and cosy little camping pod for a few nights away! Loved listening to the birds and delicious food close by.

We got to our pod, extremely happy to see a hot tub and a bed, and a shower and a kitchen. It was amazing, we weren't expecting that at all. Turns out we accidentally broke into a mega pod by accident and when we found out the place we were staying was what we thought we booked (4 walls and a roof) we're were mildly disappointed but it was still really good. The local area is amazing and there is enough nearby to here.

The pods are great, they have heaters, lights and electricity for £40pn so it's a bit more luxury than camping. The toilets and showers are warm and clean enough. The showers are push button, and don't stay on very long so you do have to shower one handed! It's right next to the mountain bike store and hire, and also the station inn, recommend there for food too. Good base for rides up and around the hills.

Haven't stayed here yet but the pods look like an interesting autumn or winter option. Good set up and facilities.

Stayed 2 nights using a Groupon deal. The pod was cold and had a closed up smell when we arrived - I expected it to have been aired and the heater left on low. The heater was small but efficient and we were soon cosy in our pod. Very spacious for 2 but may be cramped for the 5 people it supposedly accommodates. The doors into the pod are narrow so both need to be opened to get in/out easily, however the doors stick in the frame making them difficult to open/close. Once inside there is only a tiny catch to pull on to close the door behind you - a bigger handle would be better. The bolt on one of the doors was missing so the door couldn't be kept completely closed resulting in a draught, not such a problem for us as we set up our beds furthest from the door but could be an issue if 5 people sharing. The toilet/shower block was lovely and warm and reasonably clean. At night there is good lighting from the pods to the loos. The chap in the bike shop who checked us in was very friendly as was the bike mechanic who did some minor adjustments to one of our bikes. The area has spectacular scenery that is easy to explore by bike or on foot - but the hills are brutal! The location of the pods is convenient rather than pretty - great views of the pub car park and the road and within spitting distance of the level crossing. I enjoyed our stay but I don't think I would pay full price for the experience.

Amazing place. Peaceful and staff really helpful. Pods are fantastic with heating and electricity. Just bring your camping gear and forget the tent!

What a great place!!!Ideally situated in the Shropshire Hills, close to Carding Mill Valley & the Long Mynd between Church Stretton & LudlowGetting here is straight forward, Access is off the A49 at Marshbrook and is adjacent to The Station PH, which was bought by the owners before expanding into lodges & pods!Parking is good (unless you arrive on a weekend, when the pub is busy)We stayed in a Megapod complete with outdoor hot tub.The view from the Megapod looks across a small valley, there is a fast flowing stream and a road approx 50 meteres away. You get some road noise from agricultural traffic but not a lot.It is well constructed and well laid out. Comfortably sleeping 2 adults with space to put your belongings away tidily (and not fall over them)We ate at the Station on our last night. Both of us had steak - the food was superb. We had a brilliant time and will be back again in the new yearWould we recommend it - Absolutely
