My car broke down first thing and they were able to replace the battery on the same day. Really helpful, friendly and reasonably priced. Cannot recommend more :)

Berkeley Garage was recommended to fix a problem with 3 locking wheel bolts that couldn't be removed by me or a Tyre place. I turned up on a Friday lunchtime, having come straight from the Tyre place, and dealt with James. His colleague welded studs onto all three bolts and removed them, and charged me an hours labour only, finding replacement bolts form their spares bin. I had the car back by 4:30. Couldn't be happier with their speed and fair pricing, that they they didn't take advantage given that I was in a tight corner. Will certainly use this garage again when the need arrises.

I called in today (Friday 13th, May 2018) at 15:43 and I spoke to a very rude staff member at Berkeley Garage. I've been calling some garages today to get an estimate price for the issue that I am having for my car and this was by far the most horrible customer service out of all garages. The man I spoke to was extremely rude on the phone, had no patience, even though I kept a respectful conversation from my part, he even just hung up without saying goodbye. Poor, very poor.

I have been taking my cars to Phil for 22 years, since just before he took over Berkeley Garage. Back then it was just our family car but these days it's mine and my wife's and kids' cars. In all that time I have never had reason to doubt the quality of their work. As important as the quality of the work they do, is what they don't do. Berkeley Garage must be one of the last surviving businesses which doesn't try to upsell you work you don't need, and in fact they have actively avoided (and still do) spending our money where they could, over the years. They don't advertise and yet they're always busy, because the quality of their work speaks for itself.

Had a small accident on my way back from work and was really worried that I couldn't get it fixed. Phoned them in the morning and they sorted it out my suspension arm by 3pm!!!! Really grateful for their great work ethic and honest pricing. Highly recommended.

I have been using this garage for years now and they’ve never failed to do a fantastic job! Couldn’t recommend them more. The customer service is outstanding, super friendly, helpful and professional! I wouldn’t ever go anywhere else they are brilliant!

My second visit to Berkeley Garage - this time had a problem with my brake lights in the middle of a stretch of night shifts and was extremely desperate to get it solved. Problem was solved within minutes as the staff there are very knowledgeable about cars and are clearly professionals!!! Impeccable sense of humour and formidable banter. 10/10 would recommend.
