Mountain Warehouse

We stayed in Salisbury for 3 days the beginning of September, 2017. Coming from the USA we discovered there were some items we needed. We bought a mens' lightweight jacket, a woman's hoodie and a woman's rain hat. Really great clothes and at reasonable prices. The best part was that unbeknownst to us, my husband's wallet fell out of his pocket. We did not realize it until later; thinking it was lost later in the afternoon we called all of the places we had been at; reported it to the police; called our credit card companies in the USA. Lo and behold, an employee at this store found it on the floor, gave it to the manager who put it directly in to his safe. He was able to email my husband to let him know. EVERYTHING was still in the wallet! This is a great establishment!

I went in and got exactly what I had in mind. The Sales are always good in there, either a 70% or a 50% but the kit is good quality. Not Rab or Northface quality but better then the budget Karrimor. Its good kit, especially if you want to kit out the kids that will inevitably grow out of, for cheapish... Friendly and helpful staff that will go out thier way to help you.

I only went into Mountain Warehouse to have a look around to get some inspirations but I left with a lovely coat for my niece for Christmas. I know she's going to love it as it's got unicorns on it.The staff on duty were very professional.

We were visiting Salisbury and popped in as there was a sale on. I am a regular at mountain warehouse at our local store, online and if passing one whilst on our travels. We popped in and my grand daughter saw a t shirt she liked she and so tried it on, it was perfect fit so I said she could have it as an Easter treat I also picked up some trousers for myself. When at the till a very polite young lady (Matilda on her name badge) served us, she was helpful and offered us other items in the sale. A credit to the company. As she processed the sale it became clear that the price on the item was different to to the price coming through on the till. An older lady said (couldn't see her name badge but possibly a senior store assistant) in a rather aggressive tone what's the problem

Staff are always helpful, and happy to serve. Any issues are sorted easily and effectively too. Love going to thus particular store because of it

I like this Store. Friendly helpful staff and a good range of affordable outdoor clothing, footwear, gear etc. You probably won't find the high end brands but you are not paying the high prices either. I'd say they are aiming to provide reasonably priced stuff for the average family and not professional "outdoor climbers/ hikers/ cyclists. Bargains to be found if you choose carefully. If you want to spend a night on the summit of Ben Nevis - then go to Blacks or Ellis Brighams. Go in and have a look around."

Visited looking for a tent wonderful service. Marked down as we had 2 small children desperate need if a toilet and were sent on a mission looking for somewhere. This is the reason I have given a 3*

I had a pair of waterproof trousers that were stitched incorrectly. I kept forgetting to return them for over 12 months and I had no receipt but when I took them in and explained, the gentleman who served me exchanged them for another identical pair with no quibbles at all. Thank you. Highly recommend this site.

Always worth a browse for some last minute going away bits and bobs and usually at the best prices in town for outdoor gear.
