We stayed for 17 nights in Week2Week's 2-Bedroom Serviced Apartment in Centralofts (Apartment #309) during our visit to Newcastle upon Tyne from 27 August to 13 September. The apartment was very well equipped, providing everything we required. To our delight, the apartment also had a balcony. And the location of the apartment was excellent as everything was in close proximity - train station, local attractions, shopping areas, restaurants, Newcastle University, etc. Overall, we were very pleased with the accommodation. In my interactions (all virtual, of course), I found the staff at Week2Week to be responsive and helpful, as they did everything to accommodate all reasonable requests, whether pertaining to parking, early check-in or late check-out, or extension of reservation. The Wi-Fi in the apartment was rather slow and unstable, though.Based on our experience, I would like to highlight one area where Week2Week could do better, however. It is to do with weekly service. Even though the apartments are supposed to be serviced once every week, ours was serviced only once during our entire stay! This left us a bit dissatisfied as we had to use the same bed linens and towels for the remaining 10 days after the first service on 2 September. I would recommend to Week2Week that they notify the weekly housekeeping schedule to all guests staying beyond a week soon after check-in and then ensure that apartments are serviced as per the notified schedule without any exception.Also, I have two recommendations for Week2Week to consider:Guest Relationship Manager - Consider designating one of your staff as the Relationship Manager for guests staying for more than a week and have her/him interact with the guests by phone once a week just to ensure everything was fine. This will elicit real-time feedback and lead to better guest satisfaction rather than just post-stay feedback that may seem just a formality.Lift Access - The lift in the building was out-of-service for scheduled maintenance on 1 September from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM and this was duly notified the previous afternoon. However, this did cause quite a bit of inconvenience to us as we were traveling out of Newcastle that day and had to carry heavy luggage down the stairs. To put things in perspective, one member in my family has accessibility requirements, and step-free access is a must for her. Since the building has another lift, I would recommend that it be made operational when the main lift goes out-of-service. No lift access for several hours in a high-rise building could also compromise a guest's wellbeing in case of any emergency.In summary, Week2Week Serviced Apartments are an excellent option for those visiting Newcastle upon Tyne for a week or longer as they can stay in a well-furnished apartment to enjoy home-like environment with easy access to everything they need. I would certainly stay with Week2Week again on my next visit to Newcastle.

We stayed at a city centre apartment by week2week in Newcastle and it was amazing!The location was perfect - walking distance to everything we needed and right next to a beautiful church!The apartment itself was spotless and very well equipped, we basically just needed to bring our clothes.We arrived late at night (approx. 10.30pm) and the team arranged for a courier to drop off our keys and a lovely little welcome pack including fresh milk. The instructions for entry etc we perfect. We had no reason to contact them during the stay but I know that Sarah and the team were always on hand if we needed them.I’d highly recommend week2week serviced apartments to anyone looking for a leisure or corporate stay in the North East.

I recently stayed at an apartment n Newcastle for the Sam Fender concert and couldn’t be more with the whole experience with Week2Week - communication before arrival was excellent and even after we arrived any information regarding our stay was replied to straight away, I’ll 100% be using Week2Week again

The apartment was very central and ideal for what we required. Easy to get to the main parts of Newcastle and plenty of food places nearby. For football fans the stadium is a mere 10 minute walk.Why only 4 stars? Well nothing is perfect and this accommodation is not without a couple of issues.The first is the noise. Facing out onto the street and even 2 floors up with double glazing it seems many of the locals feel that 00:00-02:00 is the best time to go outside and have very loud conversations, drive cars with loud exhausts and of course no major city doesn't have the emergency services operating at all hours so sleep was challenging at these times in particular.The supply of cutlery for this apartment was inadequate with 2 knives but one functional fork and a second that could not keep its handle attached. Although it is a sleeps 2 apartment we were meeting friends in the city and it would have been nice to have them come round for dinner on the evening we met up but alas insufficient dishes and cutlery put the kibosh on that planA little more care with little items like this would helpFinally the directions to the garage were correct and once we located the right building we found this fine but once inside there was no guide to the correct entrance to the inside of the building with the obvious door not being the correct one and the correct one not being as obvious as the incorrect one.Finally, receiving a couple of messages advising me that I had to pay by the first night and then a reminder that I hadn't paid the next night (which advised ignoring if already paid) when I paid for the apartment in April for a September stay was worrying when it shouldn't have been. If these are standard automated messages then they really need to be looking at the system used as its clearly not goodHowever that said, would I use this apartment block again.... Yes. all the above were fairly minor faults (albeit the cutlery proved very inconvenient) and as I knew I had paid I ignored the messages (once I had double checked) for payment. Its clean, spacious and the location is spot on.

2 Sloane Square . Apartment was very nice and an easy walk to the town centre. However Iwe didn’t appreciate the 40 minute wait for the key even though we had phoned ahead or the wet crockery,the dirty glasses or the remains of a meal left in the microwave which we didn’t find until 3 days into our holiday. The metro runs directly under this apartment which can be heard throughout the day and late into the night. Disappointing.

i have stayed with my family in Curzon Place for a month .Very beautiful apartment and well maintained with all necessary utensils, washing machine, cooking range and room heaters in all rooms . the location is very close to the city center and was very easy to access the city center . the service team at week to week were very professional and was available when ever needed. the car hire service through them were too very professional that we have twice used them to visit London as well as airport pick up and drop off . To name Sarah ,Janine and caroline were always available with best of services.Altogether we as a family enjoyed our stay and look forward to use their services in the near future.Thank you and best regards from all of usGopikrishnan and Family from U.A.E (Abu Dhabi)

I have used Week2Week twice now for a long term work stay, both were a great experience. The team are very friendly and professional helping me find an apartment close to the project I'm working on. They are very approachable and have made me feel looked after without being intrusive. Both of my stays have been circa 6 months in a serviced apartment. Servicing is once a week giving the apartment a thorough clean. I've recommended these guys to everyone working on my project as the quality, price and service are very competitive. Excellent location, only a 15 minute walk into the City Centre and 20mins from St James Park Stadium. The quayside is maybe 30mins walk. Perfect as we didn't need any taxis or buses to get around.The apartment was spacious, clean and modern with everything we needed for self catering.The staff were super helpful and friendly when they met us with the keys.There was a little bit of noise from the metro during the day but it stopped at night so didn't keep us awake.Thanks for a great stay! Would 100% book again.
