Elmwood Care Home.Provided Mum with fantastic care during her time there.The staff embraced her cheeky character, often joking with her and having fun. Later, as Mum’s care needs became more involved the staff were there for her unhesitating and thoughtful at all times.the staff were not only her carers but her friends they did so much to ensure she was comfortable, during her stay until she passed away December 2021.As a family our love and gratitude goes out to all at Elmwood.xxx

Truly wonderful place for my Mum to spend the last few weeks of her life. My mum arrived after a 3 month stay in hospital at the age of 96. We knew that she was terminally ill on her admission. The staff were very caring and kind, nothing was too much trouble. The last week of my mother’s life,Our family members descended on Elmwood and we were there every day until late evening. The staff were constantly checking that we had everything we needed and were very supportive to all of our family, and very considerate when caring for my mum and offering us tea and sympathy whenever appropriate.I cannot thank them enough for keeping my mum clean, comfortable and as happy as she could be.The staff were all kind and caring and made us feel welcome in a very friendly and happy environment.If you have a loved one who needs care I highly recommend Elmwood.
