Goring Hall Hospital

Sally and Stephanie were both very professional and very friendly. Treated me as a normal intelligent human being, which was appreciated. And the blood test was sensitively done!! Thank youI can’t see how to write another review! So am adding to this one. Had my hand surgery yesterday, and it was made almost enjoyable! Lizzie was great and looked after me without fuss. What can I say about Granny Vivian?! Everyone needs a Granny V. When I said how much I enjoyed her tea, she brought me 2 more (very welcome!) mugs. Just delightful ❤️

I've recently had a knee replacement at Goring Hall Hospital. Whilst on my stay on the ward I was served my evening meal by Granny Vivian from catering. What an absolute delight this lady is. So thoughtful and caring to the extent of bringing the starter out first and following with the main course so it didn't get cold. She had a wonderful smile on her face but still remained very professional in her service. An absolute joy.

Supposed to see James in the Physio dept but we got the time wrong and arrived 30 minutes late. They were amazing and made sure that we still saw someone. We saw Steven who was fantastic. Very grateful that they went out their way.

Great experience at Goring Hall today. Lovely nurses who went out of their way to explain and reassure me throughout my stay and procedure. I was very nervous but they couldn’t have been calmer or more helpful. And the amazing Vivian from catering! What a lady. The funniest, kindest most lovely person to be alongside you during a hospital visit. She deserves a medal. Thank you to all of the staff.

From the moment I arrived at 7.30am I was seen by a succession of staff the nurse who booked me in was immaculately presented and displayed great knowledge and confidence. Sultan the nurse who was responsible for my care was excellent throughout my time there and ensured I was prepared for my treatment. The anaesthetist was excellent and listened to my concerns and agreed to a local anaesthetic rather than a general. This was contrary to scheduled treatment and I’m totally grateful for his knowledge and ability. And of course the surgeon Simon Palmer. He was excellent and talked me through what he would do and my aftercare. Many thanks to everyone and please thank Sultan for me for his attention. By the way the sandwich was excellent as well.

I've just had a stay in Goring Hall Hospital for a hip replacement. The surgery was a huge success, and the level of care from everyone has been second to none. The rooms are private and very comfortable, the nurses are all amazing, and then the catering service from Granny Vivian is the icing on the cake (so happy and friendly, and each course served individually to ensure the food is fresh and warm)

I have just spent an afternoon at the day surgery unit at Goring Hall for a routine diagnostic procedure and had a really great experience.It was my first ever “proper” medical procedure that wasn’t a trivial outpatient appointment, and I was very apprehensive coming in. Everyone was incredibly friendly and patient, from the resident doctor who had to put up with my visceral dislike of needles to the outstanding medical team around Mr Baig who were incredibly professional yet sweet, kind and funny and kept me so distracted during my procedure that it felt like it was over in no time. My dedicated nurse Teresa was delightful and being in a calm, quiet, and comfortable private ward before and after my procedure made a world of difference to my experience.An extra special thank you to “granny” Vivian from catering who was an angel, serving me way better (and more) food than I would ever have expected at a hospital, and also taking lots of time to talk to me and making sure I was feeling okay and recovering well.

Had a lovely nurse doing my preoperative checks today (Catherine). I was a little apprehensive but she put me at ease and was efficient with all the checks while being friendly and reassuring too. Couldn't fault the care, everyone are very professional and courteous. Thanks!Edit: I am now sitting here post-op and ready to go home. It has been a flawless experience, with nurses regularly checking in, the surgeon checking in, and anything else I needed sorted to the best of everyone's abilities. All the staff were also lovely and friendly.Perfect, thanks so much!

Very disappointed unfortunately. As a customer of Circle Windsor, I called Goring Hall on a Tuesday morning to ask about an urgent procedure and was promised a call back. Nothing on Wednesday. Thursday I called back 3 times first to the national helpline, then was transferred to the direct line. I waited on hold each time for 10 minutes. Nobody picked up. In the end I just got in the car to ask at front desk and discovered the procedure is not offered here. I could have saved 48 urgent hours if someone on the national helpline knew the answer, or if the hospital picked up. Not the quality I'd hoped for.

All members of staff here are so warm and friendly. From admission to leaving I was treated with respect and care. Special mention for Granny Vivian who served me the best tea and sandwich after my procedure with a beautiful smile. Also do my nurse Kayley who looked after me so well
