Sun Dry Cleaners

That's the second time I tried this dry cleaner after a very disappointing first time. He charged me £10 to clean a cushion and said it was expensive because it takes long to dry. Looking at my receipt today, it charged £3.99 on his till and didn't give me any change. Either you lie to your client either you don't want to pay all your taxes and sorry I don't believe in the human error this time. There is enough good competition around to avoid this store

Took my partner's dress to be dry-cleaned and it evidently hasn't been cleaned at all, just ironed. We effectively paid £8 for a dirty dress to be ironed. Reading some of the other reviews on here it is clear this place is badly organised and is possibly purposefully ripping off customers. Won't be going back because I suspect they won't be willing to make amends. AVOID

I asked for a dry clean for a designer jacket which was a high cost and prepaid for the service. It was ready to collect 3 days after and they have been closed. I am very local to this area and since I have put my coat in the next day it has been closed since. Leaving me not able to get my jacket. This is not a professional service they are more happy to take your items and take your money payment but do not open their business to collect. Even calling the number on numerous occasions no answer.Regarding to the owners response thank you for letting your customers know due to the sudden closure of your shop. But there has been no notices left on the shutters for the past few days as I live next door and have seen for the past few days it has not been open at all for emergency collection. I understand we live in unprecedented times and you can not do services but at least have a pick up collection system for peoples goods.Thank you for finally opening up the shop after this review for emergency collection only.

Fast, reliable and high standard of wash, fold and iron. Have been happy half a dozen times (out of 6), and continue to go with Sun Dry!

I took in a designer jacket to be cleaned. I picked it up today and they have ruined it. The leather on the inside and outside of the collar is broken and in bits. The man who served me tried to say that it was down to the collar being stained, but I did point out to him that even if the collar was stained on the inside from my neck, what explanation was there for the outside of the collar? It's a shame that I will not be using them ever again, as I have been going there for several years. He did not at any point offer to repair the damage that had been caused by his dry cleaners, not did he offer any sort of refund. Surely, a dry cleaner should be able to remove stains from garments without damaging them. I would advise any person going there to get assurances that they will not experience what I did today.

The owner is the best! Always have a banter with him. I reckon the price is more than reasonable for the great service. I take my designer stuff there all the time and I have never had problems! These people leaving bad reviews are salty!

The owner of this dry cleaners always provides very friendly service. I've needed to collect clothes outside of business hours and he has been incredibly accommodating about it. RE: service itself, I once took a scarf with red wine spilt on it, and he was able to clean it completely. He also told me that if he could not clean it properly, he would not have charged me. Very happy to give my business to him.

I love this dry cleaners and when I saw they have a low rating I had to step in and comment. I’ve had over a dozen suits cleaned here, maybe two dozen and they have always been great. I am also the type of customer to forget his dry cleaning in the shop for a couple of weeks and they have never complained or said a bad word. They’re always friendly and I always enjoy the experience of it all.
