Dogs Body Canine Massage Therapy

Catherine has attended to our very elderly labrador who aged 16 1/2 went to heaven yesterday. We have no doubt our dogs life was made more comfortable and subsequently she lived longer because of her regular treatments over the past year. We bred from our dog and are lucky enough to have her daughter and granddaughter. We will not hesitate to take them to Catherine for treatments.

My dog had fractured his shoulder and had a plate inserted. Because of this he always looked lame. Cath treated him once a week for 3 weeks then onto a monthly maintenance plan. The lameness disappeared. He loved Cath and his massage sessions. Cath has such a gentle way with the dogs and instinctively knows what the dogs need. I can highly recommend her

Shadow is 14 years old and a border collie. She’s recently started to have mobility problems in her hind legs. She saw Cath at Dogs Body last week and the difference in her is amazing, she’s so much more active and obviously in much less discomfort. I had the privilege of being taught by Cath whilst studying to become a Clinical Canine Massage Therapist. I learn't so much from her. Her knowledge and understanding is unsurpassable. She has an amazing way of being able to put any dog at ease, so that they get the most out of their treatment. My 12 year old terrier Jip went to Cath for a massage last week as he was displaying signs of discomfort, so much so I was worried there was something seriously wrong! He was very excited at first but soon settled and laid quietly and enjoyed his treatment. Cath is very calm and knowledgeable, she quickly found areas of muscle damage and worked quietly and gently on them, Jip did not look uncomfortable at all during the treatment. I found the whole experience to be positive, Jip loved it and I think Cath really knows her stuff, as not much more than a week later Jip is a different dog, he is back like a pup again, bags of energy, happy, eating better and seems to be generally enjoying life much more. I wouldn't hesitate at recommending Cath I think she is brilliant! and I think Jip would agree!

Hovis is definitely not the easiest dog to manage as she doesn’t lie still for long but she is so much happier after her sessions. Thank you for being so patient Catherine. She won’t get out of the car at the vets but she jumps out and rushes in to have her massages.

Catherine is a very caring therapist and the dogs settle quicklyso she can work her magic on their muscles and fascia to help release problems that have built up I can recommend her treatment for the old or young dogs .

Kali is nearly 14, a Husky /GSD cross, who is sadly suffering from Spondylosis in her spine and in general a bit arthritic and stiff in her old age... she had a massage from Cath the other day and the change was amazing, overnight she turned into a puppy again! It was so heartwarming to see her obviously feeling so much better. ☺☺☺I will be booking her in for regular treatments going forward for sure!
