I have just completed the Beginner's Sewing Course and have had a great time. Learned so much and Alison is a great teacher - knowing when to jump in and help, and when to stand back on a well thought-out and well paced 3 week course. Would recommend for anyone who is thinking about taking up sewing or is looking for something different to do!

I've just completed the trouser fitting course and I absolutely loved it. Alison is an excellent teacher - very helpful, patient and good at explaining each step. Her home studio is a lovely space to spend the day. I've come home with my own perfectly fitting trouser pattern and toile and a much better understanding of how to make patterns fit me. Very satisfying!

I have now attended 3 of their workshops, drafting own bodice, trousers and making the capri pants. Very excellent value and the knowledge is outstanding. I'm booked onto 2 more workshops (Alterations and making a fit and flare dress) Really hope they extend their range of courses.

I've been having a fantastic time with Alison at Ministry of Craft. Learning these skills has opened up a world of possibilities for me. I'm able to create things I want and to live more sustainably — both really important values that I want to double-down on more than ever these days. Alison's patience, kindness and creativity has been just the thing I've needed to help me on this crafting journey!
